The most underrated part of horizon's kit is by far her passive. The movement that it affords you is very much overlooked

Tru however compared to other passives in the game like valk which lets her fly and octanes which gradually regain health, it is inferior. Although she makes up for this with her viability for sure!

@@inzaghi9312 it definitely isn’t inferior if mastered but it’s very hard to use correctly especially on controller, you can abuse every movement mechanic in the game 3x easier with her and extremely good players find horizon as a struggle

@@inzaghi9312 Nah, it is not. Octane loses HP with his Q so gradually recovering HP is not impressive, especially when you have no time to sit down there to get all your lost HP back. The recovery is just so slow make it almost useless. And Valkyrie's being able to fly is not impressive either. She exposes herself when flying and you can go to a direction the fastest way possible with Horizon's Q, Loba's even better because you can directly teleport. And yeah, I'm aware these are not passive but still.

I have stopped playing Horizon ever since Valk came out and she got nerfed. I played Horizon because of her movement capabilities, but Valk is just the better version of that. If Horizons tactical cooldown gets buffed a bit again and maybe you can stay on the gravity lift a little bit longer (although that was probably a good change) then I can see me giving her a shot again, but right now Valk is just the better Horizon IMO. Also, Horizon's utlimate is rarely useful.

Yeah it's kinda weird that a recon character has one of the best movement AND damage abilities in the game. Oh and easily the best team rotation ability... Valk is the best character rn and I think her cooldowns could use a slight increase

@@KWilliamB you can still get essentially the same effect though less streamlined by popping jetpack right before you fall, and imo her passive being her way to reposition and therefore being nearly always available is what edges valk out over the others. The speed with path you can get however means you have repositioning both vertically as well as horizontally, which even with the cooldown has absolutely comparable advantages

I was thee exact same way. Horizon was the first character I got to 1,000 kills on. Then Valk came out&I rarely if ever play Horizon now. Plus her ability to reposition within a matter of seconds&gain high ground is unmatched.

I was just having this conversation last night. I HATE her ultimate, and how it affects Horizon, and how it affects the enemies. It's weak for a "black hole" considering other people can walk out of it, and Horizon herself CAN get stuck in it. The damage sucks. The grenades are a NICHE option. There's nothing great about that ult.

Sometimes when I use horizons ult I will stand in the black hole and you get a cool orange highlight over enemies, they can't see you but you can definitely see them

Horizons ultimate needs to be completely reworked in my opinion .. I feel like it’s one of if not the most useless. Can’t say to make it stronger because people will get angry .. bigger radius, can’t be destroyed, inflicts damage the closer you are to it/ the center of it. Something needs to be done, but great content Rich!! Like they said, valk 1000% takes the cake over horizon.

@@EvanHughesghk876790jgkknlhj The only reason I think it’s way too good is because it’s easy to use. PK and Mastiff are much more difficult and are only good if you’re good. Eva 8 is a spray and pray shotgun. Ez to use and decent damage=best
