Better ways to kill Nearly every robot in this Video. For example Watchers = one arrow to the eye. Other robots you hit their fluid tanks with a like arrow. Blaze = fire, chill = freeze, and shock to power cell. This makes it explode. Shoot a grazers fuel tank with fire and it will not only kill the one machine but take out most of the herd. The Rock breaker Machine Can be killed with 2 fire arrows to the fuel tank when it raises to attack. In my Opinion, the only method i agree with here is the Thunder Jaw. That is definitely the best Method on those. Cool Video all the same though!

Mikster my method for the storm bird is to use explosive lines cover the ground and lure above then bring to the ground with a rope caster. Killed it in one go.

Love the aesthetic design concepts/ideas in this game from the enemies, to the different factions and all the super cool/complex outfit and weapons. The ancient medieval/tribal design mixed with the modern tech/plastics rigs could have very easily been fantastically stupid looking and lame. Like just overriding one of the tall necks which gameplay wise is trivial (and game developer wise could have dedicated zero time to it) is visually interesting and exciting to do every time, the cool electronic 3D world overlay, the creeping tangle of wires sprouting from the override node and the blue shockwave that sparks the surrounding environment, all of it is ridiculously visually complex and saturated for such a little moment in the game overall. Very admirable to see a studio put in some much work and passion into a product.

The thing I love about this game is that you have variety in how you kill your machines, fast or slow. There are multiple fast ways and multiple slow ways. Figuring it out yourself on how to kill these machines is one of the best ways, which is why I've never looked at videos until I've finished the game, mastering what I do. Longlegs: Two shock arrows to its electric canisters and done. Sawtooth: Set up blast rope traps (two at least) and lure it towards you either shooting its weak point (which I do) or "lure." Stormbird: Rope tie it, knock off the cover for the freeze canister if it has one and shoot the canister with a freeze arrow. Now pummel it with arrows. Repeat the action with the second freeze canister. Due the same thing with the fire canister if the Stormbird isn't down for the count yet. The Deathbringer: Light it up with fire arrows and after it is over heated, shoot the vents. Then go after the machine guns.

For rockbreakers, simply remove the arms with about 4 arrows (2 for each arm) so he can no longer dig in. Then sling with ice bombs and just spam for his weak spots. Quite easy actually.

If someone wants the armor he has, its the shield weaver outfit. Its not hard to get, but you need to know exact locations(for the bateries), wich are: GAIA prime (to get here you need to complete quest: The mountain that fell) All-mother(you need to complete quest as well too, but i cant remember quest name) and Ruins.(you do not need to complete quest to get here its the starter ruins you were in at the start, when Aloy fell in them.) you need to search youtube tho, since i dont remember the exact locations of the bateries. The outfit adds additional health, it is tested against all elements and works well. I hope i helped someway. The only thing i wanna ask, what is the bow he used? the fast reloading one.

He shot that thing with, what, six arrows? And only one seemed to hit a weak point? It takes way more than that to kill a Glinthawk on NORMAL difficulty, even with all shots going for the weak point. Ive used precision arrows to turn a Glinthawk's weakpoint into a damn pincushion, and it didnt die. I had a +30% damage bonus on it too. So howd he go and bring one down that easily

Quick Tip: Always keep tear blast arrows. If you run into a machine with ranged weapons or deadly components, use that arrow to blow them off. For light to medium machines, it’s a kill. For large machines like sawtooth or a thunder jaw, it will either knock all the components off in a radius, knock it to the ground, or do both. Keep this in mind when fighting those big dudes.

Stormbird was so cool, like i didn't expect a cutscene when I got to the top of the mountain, none the less a giant bird. I figured all the smaller machines were guarding something outside of a Vantage Point, but wasn't sure what to expect. He was a really tough opponent though, especially because of a large health pool and arrows doing next to nothing to him, and being pretty hard to stun too. Although I might've fought him a little early too

Those tearblast arrows are great for damaging shell-walkers but if you were to fire 3 arrows at one time at it and get the majority of its components, you can easily deal a lot of damage to it. And that multiple arrow shot skill can come in handy when you want to quietly kill smaller machines like grazers and scrappers. You can most definitely deal a good amount of damage when using this skill to fight slightly larger machines like the chargers, bellowbacks, tramplers, and lancehorns. Sadly that skill wouldn't work very well with the sawtooth as those guys are a pain to hit, especially when trying to hit their components cause they move around so damn much but unless you use concentration and time your shots right, you could possibly knock off one of its components

The stormbird can be easily killed with normal arrows when it attacks... for example when its shooting at you the electric balls or whatever you call it, you shoot that component that its using, you can also use freeze arrows they are very good, it can knock down the bird and then you can focus on its components with whatever arrows you need

u shoot fire arrows on glinthawks not precision arrows... 1 arrow will burn them and send them to the ground, then u can use your other arrows or just wait till the fire stops and use another fire arrow. corruptors and deathbringers need to be burned first so they overheat and expose heat sinks, then destroy them with damage arrows.

The ropecaster bow is far superior for dealing with the stormbird, also you were using the tear arrows to blow off the flammable cannisters instead of shooting the armor off them then using correct elemental bow from the war bow to do the job

Nah, fire arrows and shadow blast sling easily whipe it out. Takes about 40seconds of done right.

I have killed every machine so many times and I still cant get the trophy, do I need to scan them before killing them?

Just ran into my first Deathbringer............Does not look fun. I don't have that armor. I'm level 50(thanks to that one Sleight Trial hunting grounds 10k xp glitch!!!) and i've got good weapons. I just looked this up as i'm at the mission where it looks inevitable that i'm going to have to fight the damn thing. No spoilers. I just got a glimpse of it and came here to see if there was a trick to downing it. Thing is massive! *Shouldn't i just use tearblast arrows instead of the hardpoints you used in the video? Seems more efficient I have my bow modded to do a lot of extra tear damage so my hardpoints pack a whallop. I think i'll try the tear blast arrows first. Thank you very much for the video. I've used it several times so far.

I went to my statistics and found that i killed every machine at least once and still no trophy, what could be the problem

I mostly use the Stealth Attack or Sharpshot Bow, keep my distance and shoot the yellow parts till they explode or break off. Ravenger I just shoot of the gun with a tear arrow, pick it up and unload it's own gun on it. On very hard you are still able to kill two Ravengers with one gun. Rockbreakers I hate the most. In game it says they react to noise, but even when I'm not moving they dig up underneath me..
