Nice one, Michael. I recall how excited we all got when the XR came out, after us being unanimously impressed by the Redback, but I gave up on the XR. It was the lack of reliability, and the choice of only 1 type of bolt, that killed off the interest for me. Last month, I dug me Redback out, and ordered a 7 shot mag for it from Stefan Weber, and now it's.exactly what we had hoped the XR would be. Been trawling through a lot of your early vids, Mike. Them were the days, old mate, them.were the days 👍🏻☠️👏

Have you tried adding a red dot sight on it? would there be enough space?

@WeaponCollector would you recommend this as a pistol sized repeater over some of the more expensive ones that aren't pistols, or have say 35lb limbs.......i understand it only takes certain bolts but is that so much of an issue? It costs 80 quid, i have the base redback and its great, magazine with it, tick all the boxes if it works properly

do you think that if the magazine could take broadheads that the broadhead tips would actually help keep the bolts flat / horizontal ? . . funny that the brand is Horizone

My supplier says bolts are on back order ,can you use other 6.5" bolts in the magazine?

the only bolts that work are the xr bolts and torpe bolts, but yes if you buy the standard redback torpe bolts they should fit in the magazine, mine did fine.

Can you fit sight's on it ? I look at some lube, they ranged from £1.99 to £9, one last question do you buy a spare string or just wait for it to wear out & then order ?

look on ebay mate, or airgunspares . com, they are expensive though, would be around £50 for front and rear sights, its a rip off.

No, only the horizone torpe bolt will fit in this.

No Sean, only the A.B.S horizone torpe bolts, (they are least cheap and easy to get though.)

I made the stock on this one mate, and as for sight, you should be able to fit a small scope or red dot, will need to be smaller size ones though

Small and big, its rather powerful, dont let the size deceive you in to thinking this is not a practical weapons, itll defend you just aswell as a pistol, and will kill the same, quietly.

Hi This magazine is good. On the gun, however, automatic safety should be turned off. it slows down a lot. I make manual safety into my weapons.

Your tempting me getting one now Mike, you should definitely be getting sponsored by Hori Zone. I'm still new to crossbow's, can I ask if you lube/wax the serving part on the string as well? Others say not to as it will cause a build up at the trigger. What's the correct way?

Hello mate, this crossbow is not so good. the price is absolutely stunning, but the string SADLY SADLY is not alligned with the bolts, they could have easily fixed this by adjusting the magazine to fit more to the end, like this it is "unpretty". it is like a porsche for 20k bucks that has 50y old brakes, totally spared at the wrong things for no fuggin reason. if the magazine would fit more back to the end, i would have paid 150 bucks easily, but this? needs a revision

It's a cocking aid, it gives you more of a handle to hold when cocking the crossbow, but is a fully working bayonet too, you can ridicule it all you want but the majority of people who see it want one and understand why it's a good added extra.
