The TEN-SCTE platform is one of the most successful 4WD electric short course platforms of all time. The TEN-SCTE 2.0 kit builds on the success of this racing juggernaut with innovative engineering and technology born from team driver expertise, CAD and countless hours of testing.
The weight bias of the chassis is further back and lower than the original, making for more consistent handling and faster lap times. Because the TEN -SC TE 2.0 is in kit form, you have the freedom to build it to your exact specifications with the power system and electronics of your choice. Engineers have eliminated the weight of the battery tray and replaced it with thin foam pads mounted directly to the chassis. They've also made the battery hold down posts adjustable so you can shift the position of the battery forward or aft as needed. Drive inserts are molded into the diff cases and a reengineered seal system protects internal components. The result is a drive train that lasts longer and delivers more consistent performance. This proven body design delivers all the downforce you need for cornering fast and staying in control when flying down the straights. Air under the body is channeled through strategically placed outlets during jumps so the truck is more stable while airborne.

We reviewed the MIP kit and, while it is a very good conversion, there are a number of differences between the two.

This is the TLR kit minus the rear bearing carriers, TLR chassis, Losi HD diff outdrives, harden pivot balls, TiN shock shafts, Hard anodized shock bodies, TiN hinge pins, Torque rods front and rear, and all the usual RTR equipment. Thats it download the manual yourself and see. All that for Losi lists for $749.99 Oh and a fancy center diff top plate too...

There's a lot more to this than just the Team Losi Racing tuning kit you reference. Really the only parts from the Tuning Kit in the 2.0 are the suspension mounts, shock caps and preload adjusters. The front and rear shock towers are different than the tuning kit. There's even more that comes with it than what you list below. Also, the TEN-SCTE 2.0 is $469.99 not $749.99.

The body is clear. Are you talking about the wheels you see here as those are florescent yellow. The only 3 wheel disc colors available are white, black and yellow

Depending on the size of the track anything from a 4.5T-6.5T sensored system would work well. Team Losi Racing driver Dakotah Phend just won the Cactus Classic using a Team Orion motor and ESC while teammate Billy Fischer TQed and finished 2nd with a Novak system.

What problems are you having with the motor fitment?

I got the 2.0 and I expected better for $469 first there is fitment problems when installing my tekin 540/ 550 motor: I had to remove the right side guard and the center driveshafts still wobbles and I had to buy a aftermarket product just so it works right so much for it being ready to race and last the shock caps don't seal right with included rubber rings... Really TLR you could of done alot better for the price that your asking!

Its cheaper to buy all the individual parts that are in this TLR SCTE kit then it is to buy this kit. Plus you would get more for your money. Just did it on Amain 618... Harsh On RC tech they say its going to go for 469 if so thats well worth it then.

@HorizonRCdotCom that's good it's 469.00 and yeah after reading into it more there is a lot different stuff. I'm really curious on the new diff housings is there metal insert molded in or is it just plastic housing.

I am just a couple months into this Rc racing. I have a losi SCTE TEN “1.0” I cannot figure out why it will not turn sharp enough any longer!!?? Things I have done and checked. • Stronger servo • First I put blue lock t. on servo saver nut so it would not back off. • Then I changed the whole steering linkage out with a hotRC aluminum servo saver/steering bellcrank/w carbon fiber steering brace part # SCTE48G01 • Replace one side of the turn buckle that was worn out. This thing will still not turn good at all!! Should I rebuild the Diffs next?? Could that be my problem? Thanks!

Thought I saw a video on you have to dremel out some of the rims to allow the front knuckle room to move. There is definitely an issue with steering slop, but the HotRC is probably a step in the right direction. I put the HotRC steering knuckles on, but am not finished replacing parts and have not tried it yet. Hoping this fall. You might want to ask Bulletproof RC as he has one and addressed some of those issues. You have checked your endpoints on the transmitter?
