Got a cub sitting in the box waiting for the rest of the parts to come in. Going to be my first ARF build as well so I am super excited to see the rest of this series to help me through my first build.

I'm getting ready to move from the Carbon Z foamy to this aircraft. I've read complaints about the longevity of the factory provided "CA" hinges. Are the provided slots compatible with pinned hinges?

Will be good to see you programming the receiver with AS3X for that Model 👍

I get the feeling that Spektrum and Horizon Hobby do not want us adjusting the flight controllers and R/X s. Just selling us the USB Data Cables isn't much help.

Very nice. BTW, you used a tapping t-handle when you drilled the holes for the hinges. Obviously that worked, but you really should get a pin vise as it is much easier to hold and drill small holes with one.

As always, it would have been nice to see this model in a balsa build kit, especially any 60 size. Same goes for the P47 and the P51. I thought the hinges could have been upgraded.

Can you use a spektrum DXe transmitter with that receiver? Will you have to do any programming to the transmitter?

The Axles that come with it will not work with the 6 inch wheels what did you use exactly?? Thanks
@horizonhobby4 жыл бұрын
They work, but you have to add in a new flat spot for the set screw(s) and slide the axle out further from the housing.

Loved watching the progress, and I like all kinds of music. But THAT music just about sent me over the edge. Just an opinion, but I'd try something a bit less intrusive. As always, thanks for sharing. Steve

Just got a Carbon Cub. Can't wait to build it. What is the deal with the funeral music. I literally fell asleep watching this. Music sets the mood of the video. Are you going for grim ending as the mood? Can't watch anymore. Please re-dub these videos with better music.

It's a funeral music or what ! 😪

Omg premium components. Way more $ than I would ever pay but nice to have the best. Who would build anything with plastic gears if they had the choice. Nice build! I still have the same cub I built in 82 broken shoulders tho😓

Terrible video. No step by step, not talking about what is happening. Waste of time.
