I maidened mine couple weeks ago with the control surfaces servo links at the innermost holes and it was just a ripper. Thanks for making another video showcasing those crazy snaps and tumbles! The gains are indeed too much only on the elevator but only when you go full on 100% throttle at 4S. Love this plane even more now and a great first 1.1M plane moving up from UMX planes! I started with the HH Champ and now this awesome T-28.

Great video, as usual Jason! Great plane, we have it and are super happy! One thing that Spektrum should improve is the battery bar should really show the percentage, the bar is nice, but if it also clearly showed a percentage it would be even better! Hope this can be added in the future!

The one thing that woulda been awesome to have for this plane is thrust reverse cause its known to come in pretty hot on landings since there ar no flaps for it.

Yes, you can get telemetry on your DX6...you don't need to have a new NX radio! Just make sure to update you DX6 to the latest firmware, and all of the following Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters are telemetry capable/compatible: DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, the NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and all future radios

I have just transitioned to this model, as my first low wing airplane....I have flown it on 3S only, and the guys at the field warn me not to fly very slow because it will stall....is stalling this aircraft, when turning at low speed something it easily does, as I haven't experienced it yet...thanks

The forward programming of the receiver using the NX8 is very intriguing to me. Is it possible to edit the Intermediate mode to have no bank angles but add and utilize self leveling when the elev/arln stick is in the neutral position. I feel for me personally it would be a beneficial step mode, where i can do rolls and loops but still have the plane self level if i couldn't snap it back myself. This feature alone would warrant the upgrade price of the transmitter as far as im concerned. thanks

Have you clocked the speed with a 4s? I am surprised that a 4s battery won’t burn up a 30amp esc. You are an awesome pilot Jason.

Jason says thank you very much :) Also, we've tested this power system quite a bit and optimized it to deliver a good blend of speed, thrust and flight time when using 3S and 4S batteries with the 30A ESC. Top speed is 65+ MPH in level flight...which may not sound terribly fast, but is pretty darn fast and impressive for a model this size!

What expo are you using for High and Mid rates after changing the throws?

Expo is very much personal preference, but Jason used 30% for high rates (100% travel), 20% for mid rates (75% travel) and 15% for low rates (50% travel).
