I have the same kit, it's great for processing lots of crimped pockets fast.

Kenny I also have this swaging outfit, but now with my Frankford Arsenal X-10 I do swagging and primers all in line with hold down dies. Ten station progressive allows you to do this!

with all the stations, do you find variances in your seating depth round to round?

Nice setup. Is swaging faster/better than the crimp remover on a case prep center?
@FullLeadTaco8 ай бұрын
I believe so because when you swage, you don't remove material, just uniform the primer pocket
@ishnifusmeadle8 ай бұрын
I don't have this specific tooling, just the rcbs swage die, but since getting that I've noticed I've had far fewer issues with priming vs when primer pocket chamfering....for example sometimes if remove alittle too much and primer pockets would be ever so slightly looser and the brass didn't last quite as long. Besides, to me it's soooooo much fast.

Do you have any ideas for berdan depriming or those pesky boxer cases with undersized flash holes?
@FullLeadTaco8 ай бұрын
for the berdan depriming, I have seen people use the hydraulic method (messy but works) by filling the case with water and using pressure to deprime. For the undersized boxer flash holes, they make extra small decapping pins.
@onkelmicke96708 ай бұрын
Yeah I haven't found the water method to be very efficient. Didn't know about the undersized depriming pins, I'll try to find one. Thanks.
