The venue of the Hornbill Festival should change every year to different districts.... This will allow the State to showcase the beauty of each district and also ensure proper development and equal economy growth across the State . This also gives a chance to every Naga to experience it's OWN festival once in their life time considering the fact that not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to travel... Hornbill Festival is probably the biggest event in the North East and the Govt should fully grab this opportunity to promote State tourism to its fullest potential

Hornbill Festival is a good initiative, I think. As mentioned, it brings people and cultures together. Tourism industry is also given a boost. There's something in it for everyone. Having said that, I think over the past few years , Hornbill Festival has become more or less a mundane affair. It's as if our culture and traditions have been commercialised, sort of similar to people coming to the zoo to catch a glimpse of exotic animal species. And quite frankly, the best thing about this Hornbill Festival is the good roads we get for at least a month. Anyway, great video, guys. Cheers 🍺

No doubt this Hornbill Festival reaches to across the world from a small locality.....this is a big positive thing to promote our culture and tourism at Nagaland. If Tourist from different parts of the world likes to attend this big festival of Nagaland then why not we???..... We must celebrate it with one and all with warmness & of course hospitable🤗 cos all those who comes will cover a story with camera and so on..... This will add more attraction and knowledge for others about this festival & our places.
@tovichish80756 жыл бұрын
The camera's will also cover our roads condition.Which might leave a bad impression on the other tourist that are planning on visiting nagaland in future. Afterall,its often said that "First impression is the last impression" which is very true to a certain extent. First come development,then comes festivals.😁 No pun intended..peace✌🤘

What a coincidence! This evening i was discussing about the hornbill festival with one of my neighbour, it's good like it gives opportunity to all the local taxis, hotels and so on but i was thinking why is it necessary to host that festival every year only in kohima, if the Nagaland government really wants to promote our culture or say show it to the world then it could have host in every district one after another, so that every tribe will get equal opportunities, i hope you understand what I'm saying. Thank you

Really saddened to learn that my classmate passed away last night on 1st December , from accident after attending this horrible festival where people think it is not their problem to sell alcohol to young people just because it benefits them .They don't think abt this young and carefree youths who just wanna enjoy life and the elders exhibit such evil business of selling alcohol and doesn't even consider to think abt the poor sons and daughters whose life they are putting at risk. He was just 25...We Nagas need to be careful otherwise this festival is starting off by costing someone's life. Be careful people.

We people have different opinions towards this festivals, some say bad and some say good about it and when we retrospect all our views are true whether it's negative or positive comment we cannot deny the fact. But really it depends on one's thinking and the problems will solve by one's positive perception.
