That princess is one beautiful model. The firebox flicker I’m keen to see more of in future models. A nice feature really. Looking forward to the o gauge layout develop especially the garden railway aspect. O gauge is growing on me more since ready to run models are being produced more. It’s a great time to be a model railroader! Clint

What impresses me ,& I think it’s something us back ,age sufferers should take note of ,is the height of the layout and how it’s at the perfect working level. I probably like many have built mine to low ,and after a while you have backache. My next layout will definitely be at that level. Great post Andy

Its great, saves your back and allows an 'O' gauge loop or storage underneath.

Here’s food for thought. On full size railway we have ballast shoulders 125 high and 375 mm wide. At the sleeper ends . Prevents track buckles. Plus if we had sleeper ends visible it would create a crt site. So ever Hornsby layout I have seen would require watchman in the heat

What locos would you guys like to see a model of? We definitely need more diesel shunters like the classes 01 and 02. I wanna see NER No. 66 Aerolite and Dübs crane tank No. 401.

LNER A8 tank, LNER U1 garratt, LNER V4, LMS Turbomotive, SR Leader, SR 4DD, a modern spec GWR Saint, a WD 2-10-0, class 124 transpennine units, a standard 3 77xxx, and a standard 2 tank 84xxx, plus a re-release of the Hornby Standard 6 Clan. And for more modern modellers, loads more EMUs, including networkers, desiros, electrostars, more hornby AT300s including TPE, 397s, pep-based units inc 313s and 455s, 1st gen emus (specifically a wypte 308 for me), 319/320/321/322/323/456s, 332/333s for those modelling paddington to heathrow or west yorkshire, tyne and wear metro units, class 399 tram trains, also TPE class 185s, and I'm sure the Parry People Movers (class 139) will be popular because theyre so small.
