Hornby Mallard conversion to Sir Nigel Gresley build

It's funny, I've been pondering this exact conversion for a few months now. Nice job, saved it to perform at a later date (just waiting to see if luck will hold out for Hornby 2025)

There's a good Bachmann SNG, but i couldn't find one, so i picked up Hornby's latest offering and i'm very pleased with the result, well worth it.

If you a tiny spot of silicon sealant to fix nameplates, it is removable and will not do any damage.

A better way to scratch off unwanted decals is to use a cocktail stick as it will not scratch the underlying paint or plastic.

I agree, i did manage to do it without damage fortunately, i always used to use surgical spirit but i found most of the time it damaged the paint.

It's so difficult to find a Sir Nigel Gresley in br blue.

There's a few Sir Nigel Gresleys in vr Green, but with how popular Gresley is you would think they would release more br Blue ones.
