Hornby Mallard Pullman Model Train Set

Very nice looking set Aidan. I've recently been bitten by the model railway bug myself and am in deep research mode ;-) So many options, with DC and DCC and all the different scales and gauges. I'm looking t picking up a small set, nothing too huge for now, just something that will fit on a large tabletop. This looks very nice. It retails for about €190 in Dublin. I did see a Digital set for about €50 more, which doesn't have the lovely pullmans but does come with a digital controller, so not sure yet which to go for. I really do like the look of this set though :-) Thanks for your video, always good to see something in action before forking out for it :-)

I really like the model of the train that looks very real, I asked where to buy the mallard train model and whether it can be like a regular steam train that can emit smoke and if possible, can we communicate because I really like the train and how to buy it

hi, the set is available at hornby online web shop as well as other retailers. smoke generators are easily fitted to these models also

Thank you. I have been into the set to check for you. I can confirm that there are no wires between the loco and tender. I however checked on eBay and there is a kit available with the plug and socket for a couple of pounds. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching 👍
