Great sound! Especially the tick over and shut down! Thinking about buying one of the new batch coming out shortly, would have great to see images of how you installed the chip & speaker! Great little model. Ed

Speaker and stay alive are along the back in the cab, decoder is on top of the motor under the bonnet. Small flat PCB for the lighting with resistors is fitted on one side of the motor. All very tight 😄

Hi John, Love what you did with the Ruston, Id Like to replicate it... Did you make any documentation on the process at all? I see in a previous comment you mentioned about placement but some detail about the PCB and wiring diagram would be awesome :) Cheers

Sadly not, it's all very tight, the small pcb on the side of the motor for the lighting I've had to file the solder flat so the hood fits back on
