Out of sheer laziness I would have liked to see a green 37 sound fitted but I really can do it myself... Looking forward to April's announcements. Not that I want to be greedy but the 37 was already 'in the air', I guess the 31 may be up next in April. Whatever the case, it's great to see further developments in the scale and more choice!

Yes, bit annoying really. I've not had much luck with the HST so it's put me off. Luckily the hst set was fitted.

As soon as the announcement appeared in the Hornby Magazine I ordered a green 37. It will get a full yellow front for running in the Sheffield area. Probably renumbered at 6712...

Ordered my 37 before I posted about it on the forums in case we got the 'unavailable' tag pop up. Gone for the BR Blue, cant wait the 37 is such an iconic loco. Used to see them all the time up and down the line at Barrow Hill. There's plenty of rolling stock already for them too.

If the 37's are heavier than the 66's then they will be awesome. I'm torn between which one of the 3 to pre-order. The canal area of Camelot looks great. It will be great to see it one day.

@NewModelRailway1 I’ve seen photos on flicker of the Blue BR and the EW&S double heading a huge rake. It would look fantastic in TT120… might need a bigger layout though 🤔

Great looking locos, a good start to the year, do you know if Hornby are still planning an April announcement after this? Also when you’ve chatted with Martyn Weaver, have you ever asked why they keep out of stock rolling stock on the website and if there is any plans to re-stock these older items as I’m desperate for pre groupings or early BR wagons? Planning a trip to Doncaster too😊

April is going to be the big one! And have asked about the website, and got a few answers, they think of it a little like a catalogue, people will go to the website, see something is out if stock then copy the product code and google it to see if a retailer might have some… also people can add these out of stock codes to their wish lists, this helps Hornby when they’re assigning production slots.

That makes sense as far as production slots, It just appears as though the production run on old out of stock items is finished, maybe a short re run of old products, cycling them, I’m sure there’s a lot of new modellers like me who are missing stock and would empty their warehouse if it was available😮

Why is the BR lively spoiled with that stupid dog. Dose anybody know if the model center have an option to spray it out?

@@iain4295 I think it might be possible to have the tampo printing carefully removed, but generally TMC doesn’t do re-sprays. The dog is prototypical though isn’t it? I think it’s something to do with the West Highland/Glasgow depot
