Melo is literally playing nothing like him. He looks like a role playing PG rn. Is it the gameplan? Coz ive notice they changed the system to run n gun led by lamelo to a slow offense isolation of rozier and hayward. Thats why he cant get back to rhythm. He needs those reps even if missing and needs to be himself to be effective.

Whatever they are playing he still gets his shots off, gets his assists. If his shots were falling nobody would complain. Hopefully he gets back to normal. This is not the first time he has been in a slump, we saw it in 2021/22 and he still did great later in the season and ended with 20ppg

He is just the PG bringing the ball across half court then pass it to either hayward and rozier to do the iso theyre lucky the isos tonight are falling and got the win but will it happen for the rest of the 77 games this season?

@@PTCAL They are just doing this while his shots are not falling. You don't even know Lamelo once his shots start falling he doesn't look at all that system rubbish. Watch the 4th quarter of Hornets/Rockets you will understand what IAM talking about. He took 15 shots last night and made only 4. This is someone that usually has like 4-5 threes made each night. When his shots start falling IAM sure they will re-adjust or he will re-adjust it for them. Also he was in foul trouble last night and had like 6 turnovers. The coach had to do what he had to do. My thing is if he starts getting at least 50 percent of the shots, he will do as he pleases

This video portrays Melo as having had a good game but the truth is he was poor. He was -15 box score, shot poorly and shaded by Halliburton. As much as I want the kid to succeed, he needs to lift asap. Lose the 1of1, Not From Here fantasy mentality and get to work at improving your craft. Too much potential to play the way he is at the moment.

Ty could've had 50 points. Doesn't matter. In the end, Melo played good "D" and the Hornets won the game. Poor game or not, Melo had a double double. Eleven assists and eleven points is not bad, even when bad shooting because it meant he was passing the ball. A little more of the passing and let the shots come to him.
