Horrible EXECUTION of Hans Frank - NAZI Governor of Occupied Poland known as "The Butcher of Poland". In 1929 Hitler appointed Hans Frank, who rose to become his personal legal adviser, the head of the legal department of the Nazi Party. As the Nazis rose to power, Frank also served as the party's lawyer representing it in over 2,400 cases.
Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party came into power in January 1933. In April of the same year, Frank was appointed Minister of Justice for Bavaria, serving until December 1934 when he was named a Reichsminister without portfolio in the Reich government. On 2 June 1933, he was made a Reichsleiter in charge of Legal Affairs, the second highest political rank in the Nazi Party. On 26 June 1933, Frank founded the Academy for German Law. At its inaugural meeting on 2 October 1933, he was named its Leader and in August 1934 he was renamed its President.
The Academy was charged with promoting reform of German legal life by working in liaison with legislative bodies to implement the National Socialist program in the fields of law and economics.
Hans Frank also served as the Chairman of the Academy's Legal Philosophy Committee and was editor of its several publications. In January 1934, Frank was named as one of the three judges on the Supreme Party Court which was an internal Nazi Party tribunal that was established by Adolf Hitler in 1925 to settle intra-party problems and disputes.
Hans Frank objected to extrajudicial killings as it weakened the power of the legal system both at the Dachau concentration camp and during the "Night of the Long Knives". Frank's view of what the judicial process required was that: “ The judge's role is to safeguard the concrete order of the racial community, to eliminate dangerous elements, to prosecute all acts harmful to the community, and to arbitrate in disagreements between members of the community. The Nazi ideology, especially as expressed in the Party programme and in the speeches of our Leader, is the basis for interpreting legal sources.”
At a lecture on National Socialist legal policy in Rome in April 1936, Frank met Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, with whom he soon developed a cordial relationship, not least because he was able to talk to him without an interpreter. At the end of September 1936, Frank traveled to Rome again to bring Mussolini Hitler's invitation to visit Germany and was Mussolini's personal advisor on this visit.
The second world war began on the 1st of September, 1939 with the invasion of Poland.
Poland found itself fighting a two front war when it was invaded by the Soviet Union from the east on the 17th of September. Warsaw officially surrendered to the Germans on the 28th of September and one day later in accordance with the secret protocol to their non-aggression pact, Germany and the Soviet Union partitioned Poland.
They divided Poland into thirds, the western third annexed to Germany, the eastern third annexed to the Soviet Union, and the middle third turned into a semi-independent administrative unit, called the General Government of which Hans Frank was appointed governor-general by Adolf Hitler himself. The reason was that his Führer knew that Frank would not make any difficulties.
Frank described the policy which he intended to put into effect by stating: " Poland shall be treated like a colony, the Poles will become the slaves of the Greater German World Empire."
He was the most important administrator in the region but he was not free to govern as he pleased as the racial policies carried out in the General Government were the responsibility of the SS and the police. Frank did not oppose these goals, but he hated others infringing on his domain. When Hans Frank asked Himmler, the head of the SS, what he was doing there, when the SS was building the first concentration camp, Himmler told him: “it’s none of your business!”.
Hitler meant for the General Government to be used as a "racial dumping ground," an endless supply of slave labor, and a site for the mass extermination of European Jewry.

After watching several of these Nazi-era documentaries, I think the wives of these monsters were even WORSE if possible. Yes, the men tortured and killed the victims; but their wives benefitted greatly from the suffering, forced labor, and deaths of them in the camps, and they knew EXACTLY what was going on. Taking over the homes of deported families? Possessing valuable jewelry, furnishings, and artwork that weren't theirs? They knew their husband's didn't buy the homes and valuables!

@doubledee9675 ... Yes. For people as evil to the core, as he and his wife, there is NO punishment to harsh. I suppose the most fitting punishment would be to lock him in a small room with ZERO amenities. Provide him with enough water each day, so as to not die of dehydration and allow him to starve literally until his death in a room contaminated by his own waste.

Oh, they learn from it but sadly they often choose to learn the cruelty and how to begin the process of fascism. For example, today’s Republican Party are labeling the media as enemies…and people of color, the LGBTQ community and even women’s rights are once again under attack. We learn from the past, but evil people will learn from and glorify the evil leaders from the past. White supremists are still alive and well and emulating a madman who had millions murdered. I can only hope that there are enough of us who are fighting the fascist beasts to be able to stop them before they begin rounding up people to imprision and/or execute. DAMNIT! Here we go again!

If Jews owned business and were making all kinds of money, HOW did that ruin their economy? Either they were that unintelligent, or it was out of JEALOUSY AND HATRED. They were covetous.

Great content, but i have one thing to note: when talking about the Warsaw uprising, you say "the Soviets failed to intervene". It's something else : they refused to intervene and voluntarily stopped their offensive until the uprising was over. Stalin denied allied planes the right to use Soviet airfields if they wanted to drop supplies to the Polish fighters. The Russians had a long lasting hatred for Poland, and I think you should point it out

Frank's wife was wearing cloths stolen from murdered polish victims. Same with jewelry and perfume. Some cloths had even blood stains, so she told domestic servants to wash it. They were trying to pretend aristocracy, but their lack of good manners was clearly visible even for their maids. From the memories of the people, who know this couple, You can see picture of cruel and pathetic people pretend to be someone like prince and princess.

@@rg20322 It's well known to those who've studied this period in time that Niklas Frank hated his father entirely. He wrote a book about him, "In the Shadow Of the Reich" and told the world the rather filthy things he does on the anniversary of his father's death. I've read parts of it, and it's almost scary. Even some of the other Nazi's children, like Robert von Schirach and Martin Bormann Jr., could not believe someone could hate so much.

This was one of your best videos. Hans Frank played a major part in the atrocities the Nazis commited in Poland. There was this ideology 'working torwards the Führer'. So everyone with a bit if power tried to outdo the other one. Frank and Himmler is one of the examples about that. He got what he deserved. If he felt remorse - that was too late. Good on his son Niklas to come to terms with being the son of not only a father totally involved in Nazi atrocities but also his mother having no shame to enrich herself by stealing from Poles and Jews. Incidentally, Jews were the only race that was paid for attrocities committed against them by Germans. To-date Israel and Jewish organizations got over 82 billion euros in reparatioms. in 2020 alone, Germany paid over 1.2 billion euros in reparations to Jews. The other countries despite of loosing millions of people were nto paid any reparations by Germany. So it clearly shows that Jews know how to publicize their death and how to be rewarded. Other nations not so much. Incidentally over 20 million people lost lives during WWII. The reparations were paid only for the Jewish victims. Others were not eligible.

Well unfortunately many were stupidly clever because they had help. That’s why they went to South America namely Argentina. They didn’t have an extradition contract. So didn’t have to send their criminals back to Germany or other nations to be tried. The Nazis once they knew they were going down started getting visas and passports to South America and used fake names and false passports. Without a database, they were EXTREMELY difficult to track down. They didn’t leave a paper trail. Usually when a criminal runs, the government can demand their return and the government they ran to returns them, but as mentioned many South American countries namely Argentina didn’t have that deal. So to bring them to Justice, you had to go find them. Sadly too some Nazi sympathizers hid them as well or refused to cooperate. We were lucky to track some of them down and bring them to Justice, but some it was just impossible to find them. Hidden away like rats. Pathetic monsters. Ideally, no nation would have taken them and would have forced them to face what they had done. But the world isn’t ideal, monsters are everywhere.
@paigetomkinson1137
@paigetomkinson1137 10 ай бұрын
I understand your frustration about all the Nazis who weren't jailed and prosecuted. The reasons for that are that there were just so many of them that it would have been nearly impossible to manage. That, and the Cold War was already looming on the horizon when these monsters were being punished; the Allies felt the Cold War was more important. Luckily, many were prosecuted by the countries in which they committed their unspeakable crimes, and a few were tracked by Israelis and taken to Israel for judgement.

A conscious decision was made by the Allies not to pursue members of the Nazi party per se, for fear of causing too much resentment. (They learned from history here. It was the severe impositions and reparations imposed on Germany following the First World War, and the resentment these bred in the minds of German citizens, that led directly to the Second World War. Instead, the Allies decided to concentrate on seeking out and running to justice, not "ordinary" Germans, but members of the Gestapo and the SS in particular, organisations which they declared illegal. It was members of these two criminal organisations that the Allies were most keen to bring to book.

When they don't have to be accountable to those with the least power??? There was the Geneva Convention that set the "dos" and "don'ts" of war, like war is ever civilized to begin with, and then create a spectacle of those who did not comply to the Geneva Convention, and completely ignore the fact that they started the war. Wars usually start because there is some grievance that cannot be settled at the negotiation table, but the reason for this war was simply an out and out Power Grab.

It is illogical to say that Frank’s daughter who had cancer and said she committed suicide at the age of 46 “bc she did not want to live longer than her father,” and that his other daughter “moved to South Africa bc she liked Apartheid”--it does not make sense to narrate those obviously adoring and/or similar mindsets and to THEN insist “There were no tears shed for Hans Frank.” Clearly, despite the cretin he was, some of his children (at least 3) admired and loved him very much. It destroys the POWER of words to use them repeatedly as an empty refrain.

@@MrMalvolio29 If you have been following this channel and reading the comments, you will have noticed that I have been tweaking the narrator's beard for a couple of years over the question of "tears shedding". At first, I found it annoying but then began to have fun with it. There are VERY FEW people who don't have a tear shed for them when they die. Even Reichsfuhrer SS Heinrich Himmler who has been traduced and vilified for 80 years had a daughter Gudrun, who loved him and grieved for him until her death in 2018 at the age of 88. Whatever else Himmler did, he was a loving and devoted father to his little girl and she shed many tears when she lost him. As to your reference to the ubiquitous "H" word, (capitalized of course), I don't get involved in discussions on the subject because they lead nowhere. For mine own part, I am neither a denialist nor a proponent but rather prefer to maintain a dignified neutrality on the matter. This certainly saves arguments!
