So, only off the top of my head, we now have several major volcanoes erupting around the world at this time. Not only Stromboli, but Etna, Reykjanes in Iceland, Laki-Laki in Indonesia, and Kilauea in Hawaii. Probably others. Earthquakes where we don't expect earthquakes. Fires, floods, landslides, and sinkholes all over the map. Bomb cyclones and atmospheric rivers. Doesn't anybody besides me think the planet is trying to tell us something and we're not listening???

No. Current volcanic activity on the planet is normal. All you are seeing is people sensationalising eruptions for clicks. Stromboli poses little to no threat to Sicily, Etna on the other hand is a threat.

@@timberry1135 I think you think the only threat is getting run over by a lava flow and that is not the case. Those gases' being spewed into the atmosphere are aggravating the climate change.

The interaction between the core and mantel of our planet with the massive amount of energy pumped into them from massive, repeated Solar Mass Ejections entering from the magnetic poles is completely unknown. I'm not aware of any research that even considers this process Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis have been extremely active and covered more of the sky than they have in decades. As they are caused by ionizing radiation interactions with the atmosphere, they indicate a huge amount of energy being directed into our planet. I'm curious as to where energy goes and what it does. It might have something to do with volcanic activity and earthquakes. It seems to be having an effect on our weather patterns, possibly through heating of the upper atmosphere pushing the jetstreams around?
