Horrible today: Seconds of giant Geyser eruption spews boiling hot Dirt Threatens Millions of people
Dramatic video shows Yellowstone geyser explosion that sent tourists running
A visitor to Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday morning captured video of a dramatic hydrothermal eruption at one of the park’s geysers.The National Park Service said in a news release that a localized hydrothermal explosion occurred near Sapphire Pool in Biscuit Basin, located just north of Old Faithful.No one was injured, but dramatic video and images of the explosion circulated widely online on Tuesday. Boardwalks around the Biscuit Basin area appeared to be at least partially destroyed.
