~PALIA~TERRAFORM TIPS & TRICKS/SWITCH FRIENDLY IDEAS/LAYOUT INSPO/INCLINES, BRIDGES,TABLE SINKING

Please read all :) for switch players, if you want to recreate the log bridge idea, just add a second level of terraform to line up with the tables and you can use the method near the end of my video, and you will basically get the same results! pond inspo, boat glitch trick learned from @fleurs on youtube SWITCH MULTI SELECT SETUP/DIRECTIONS for my switch its automatically on the ZL button, but you can change this in the controller config to a different button if needed. You must go into decorating mode first which is pressing the right analog stick. than you will hover on the item with the bowl, and once the bowl is green you will press ZL and A together and you can drag it. Its best to also hit ZR (right analog stick) to turn off the grid for an exact placement and get a desired angle better, I usually will decorate with the grid off but you can do it with the grid on too, its just a personal preference. If this isnt working for you, it may be a controller issue or a button is damaged, even if you can still click/use the button, sometimes there can be damage you arent aware of that doesnt affect your gameplay enough to notice. However, This setting has worked fine for me and the buttons above, You could always try a different keybind too if needed. I also just wanted to clarify again for the bowl on your switch you MUST multi-select the bowl, and not grab the dresser. This will grab the entire item lot as a whole by the bowl. You must grab the item by the bowl because it will allow you slide the items into each other since the game thinks the bowl is being moved and not the table. Make sure to Check your controller settings on the game settings to double check your switch has a button selected for multi-select to do these glitches FOR A SEAMLESS WATER EDGE to hide wonky table placement, you can get a perfect clean edge with terraform clipping into the tables by doing the following: The terraform with the grid off can naturally get close to the table, and we can blend harsh edges with decor but if you want it seamless you can place a gourmet bowl on the terraform, multiselect the bowl and itll clip into the table for a perfect edge after you place the tables!

if you struggle still with water tables getting close or clipping, please go to the 3hr mark on emmas stream, while my video showed a small recap on how to do this, her stream is at real time and can show you all the ways to clip and angle them while she builds her pond. remember you do not need perfect curves or angles because we blend most of this out with decor! kzbin.infod01KFxEHb9M?feature=shared

FOR THE BOAT GLITCH the glitch is easy to do! I learned it from emma (fleurs) and have her post on X linked. Heres also written instructions! 1. use 2 builder walls with an industrial shelf 2. place paver on shelf near edge on the right 3. rotate shelf in a vertical position with paver on it 4. place building block wood pillar on top of paver thats upright 5. place bookshelf on building block 6. pick paver up containing all pieces and place on ground heres the post on X, she has a video in the thread x.com/Fleursacnh/status/1805268890391339048

Gorgeous! You can actually sink tables on the switch. It does require that the structure be a permanent fixture of your plot, but that’s easily hidden by turning it into some sort of building block structure that hides the pillar, industrial shelf and building block wall. You can stop by my plot if you’d like to see what it looks like. I’ll definitely give your method a try. I like the challenge of making pc only glitches work on switch. 💛

@@thebellarrific oh yes im aware of this and seen people do it and id love to visit sometime so I could see it up close! 😊 I was stating in my video my method used was not switch friendly so people wouldnt ask questions 😂 . I dont know how to exactly do that glitch but ive seen people be successful with it!! You definitely have more brain power than me lol Thank you as always 💗

Are you talking about how you can build onto the building blocks and just figure out how to flip/layer things, so when you take them off the shelf, everything will be based off of whatever the first block’s position is? I was trying different ideas using that… I started a low old fashion looking uneven overgrown stone wall (like you see in Ireland) using that and the ability to overlap the stone blocks… I’d LOVE to see you create something like that especially with these new landscaping tools!

emma made a post on X a while ago and I believe she did it on her recent stream too cause I saw the addition to her pond, but I am not sure cause I missed that entire stream! you just need 2 wall pieces, a shelf, and a pillar and 1 SMALL paver. 1. place paver on shelf 2. rotate left, paver will be upright on shelf 3. place pillar on paver 4. set shelf on pillar 5.pick paver up and place and boat is on the ground 6. move boat to water (may need a second player to help place table and boat at the same time to combine) depends on the placement, and hide anchor with bushes or decor i mentioned her because some people may need a visual but I know she did a small clip on X (twitter) a few months back. @fleurs is her channel here on youtube I have a stream of her linked in my pinned comment I cant dig for the post right now sadly on X but I know thats where I first saw it when the item collection released

yes! Purchase Terrace pieces from Kenli's office at the city hall! patch notes has all the info! they are super fun to work with, I hope we can see curved pieces and water terraform in the future! we do need more colors though like sandy pieces and autumn grass cause they dont match too much besides the green plots

I have the method down but no matter where I place the shelf on the wall I get grass clipping into the table. What am I doing wrong?

your shelf placement is wrong, refer to the heights shown in my video, and it could also be what landscape youre building on, a couple landscapes have grass that glitch through items no matter what

I try to do this and when i multi select the whole walls get selected aswell

make sure when youre creating the inclines to NOT put the shelves on builder blocks it will select them all as lot, thats why my house is there so it wont happen! for the water do not have your chic table so close to the walls when doing the bowl selection. You will not need to multi select the paver once the table its on the paver on the last step. thats why I wrote everything out so you could know :)
