lol nice Axl impersonation at the start. Why does he need three guitars in his band???
@GramsAttic3 жыл бұрын
Thin Lizzy has 3 guitars also and it sounds damn good! I seriously doubt he is trying to impersonate anybody. Why you hating on him? Jealous much? 🤣🤣

@@hockeynutt9434 I love watching Jon play. He is so fun to watch. Too bad they have him hidden.

It is different than his dad's approach. Eddie did very little overdubbing. Van Halen was (instrumentally speaking) a trio in the studio, and live. Wolf's album is different; there are a good deal of overdubs, where there is more than a single guitar playing. In interviews he has said he wanted to be able to recreate the songs *without* resorting to backing tracks, triggers, or samples. Thus he needed at least one more. Frank Sidoris was tapped to play guitar for him years ago. And Wolf said after rehearsals, it became apparent they needed one more guy for several of the songs. I'm sure backing vocals were an issue too -- 'cause Sidoris is not a singer.
