They are pre existing characters, so they already have a personality, and that makes it much easier to create a personal attachment to the drawing, and to breathe life into them. They are also very visually distinct, since Disney Typically has very good art direction. This artist twists the narrative, but Doesn't reinvent it, so You have a lot of baseline already filled in, and it is much easier to Just add the missing pieces, because You Just build on the foundation

Honestly, when it comes to making any kind of unsettling artwork, blood is a modifier. If you don't put a lot of effort into the artwork and rely solely on blood to make it creepy, it looks cheap. When actual effort is put in, like in these videos, blood can make the picture more visceral. Blood by itself isn't scary, the context the blood is present in is what makes it scary.

I just found your channel and I gotta say I’m impressed. The hair details especially, the rapunzel, Jasmin and Ariel’s hair with so much detail were incredible. Rapunzel looked like she had finally lost her marbles from being trapped in the tower for too long and finally figured out how to use her hair to get out. Jasmin looked like she had been in a hurry to look presentable even though she just killed half a village and Ariel looking so creepy yet trying to look pretty by wearing the flower, like she just got out of a fight with the sea witch and the eels and she won by sheer luck. In telling you, the vibes I got from each one… and the colors too, with the tones and shades to give depth to the drawings. I absolutely loved it. You have gained another subscriber 😁

Honestly, Jordan, you are my inspiration for gore art. I do a bit of painting, and, my art isn't as great as yours, but, it always excites me to find your artworks in IG. When I found out you have a YT Channel, I was ECSTATIC. Keep it up, please. I really appreciate these innocent-turned-gory artworks of yours :)

Your drawings are great and are very skillful. There is nothing wrong with having fun. If it makes you happy, that's what matters.

Am I the only one that finds Jordan's "innocent" voice that he uses for most of his intros more unsettling than the drawings???

I think what we mean when we say you use too much blood is that we love when you go out of your zone to draw and color unique, interesting, terrifying monsters without the classic, basic aesthetic of blood. Or they don't always have to be monsters-- it could be a story behind the image you create. Anyway we all still love your content and will watch cuz it's just interesting, but I'd love to see you get more creative
