It's Friday the 13th back in the 80s when a creepy graveyard shift at the local VHS rental store turns into a nightmare of thrilling suspense, intrigue, and horror.

In those days, if the nearest payphone didn't work, you'd just find another one not far from that one. They were widespread before cellphones. Also any business open late or with workers still present closing up nearby would probably let you use their landline. People/businesses were more empathetic about letting you use their phone back then since they'd hate to be in your shoes and get denied, especially if you worked nearby and were concerned about a burglar/vandal.
