The Fog is a good mix of ghosts and slasher, definitely one of my favorites! Return Of The Living Dead is awesome! I remember liking The Rental too.

It was creepy, unique, classic Cronenberg body horror with an interesting story and good performances. How you didn’t like it is beyond me 😅 It’s all subjective of course, sorry you didn’t dig it.
