I read Light At The End when I was a teenager. First real time I read about a gay person. Even though he was undead, it was important at that time in my life to read about someone like me. Gay, not undead...

hey, I'm looking for a book that takes place in the 80s-90s with a sapphic couple. bonus points if it's like campy. Like, let's say it takes place at a summer camp or something and maybe there is a killer on the loose. Ik that's pretty specific but it really only needs to consist of the first two criteria.

You should totally read The Wicked Unseen by Gigi Griffis!! It’s set in the 90s/satanic panic era with a sapphic couple!!

Fantastic lineup from #nightmaremaven the Priestess of literature 👌🏽 Always enjoy your descriptions & I'm down for any genre/classification so stay aggressive 😅🙌🏽

I may sound like a total idiot, but what’s “Horror Book talks” I’m very interested in finding more slashers.

Penpal is definitely one of the scariest I’ve read and I have 2 young boys so I makes it even more real.

You know I'm not big on vampires, but the hallowed ones sounds like a fun read. I'll look into it.

If you want a book recommendation I suggest the book Poor Pretty Creature if you haven't read it already its written by fellow horror KZbinr Ciara Selene she sent me an e-book copy and asked for my thoughts and opinion that I did review on my channel it explores sexuality and has such good references to another horror classic.

Two of my favorite supernatural/haunted house novels are The Dead House and Wylding Hall. And unfortunately I never hear anyone talk about them. Both are very underrated.

I would recommend Ibitsu if you enjoy the brutality of Terrifier and the psychological dread of Audition. Also, feels like a gender bent Halloween in some parts.
