But the problem with the first comic getting the dates wrong, is that it’s not being presented as dialogue, or even an internal monologue, it’s the narrator saying it, not characters

You missed "Return to Haddonfield" souvenir comic by Anchor Bay also for the 2003 Pasadena Halloween convention. Love and own a signed copy I got there back then.

I found the first Chaos comics issue at a horror store in Burlington, VT., must have been right after it came out. Somehow every other once of these, including the two sequels, evaded me until now.

I have the trilogy published by Chaos Comics. It's quite good. Avatar published a number of comic based on Friday The 13th, A Nightmare On Elm Street and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Most of them are done very well.

It seems like they all mostly retread the same things over and over again. I'm surprised not a single one followed Jamie after Halloween 4 or even 5, or took an even bolder approach and picked up after the events of Season of the Witch.

I own the Chaos run...and yeah they're not that good. I do like Nightdance although yeah that's a real downer ending there. Wasn't Sally in the Laurie Strode comic also revealed to be the girl Alice was talking to on the phone during the start of Halloween II? I honestly liked that little detail if I'm remembering it right.

I wish someone would write a story about the aftermath of Halloween for, Because that Halloween five take on it, was garbage, and Halloween for deserved a better conclusion to its story. i’m starting to think that the only way the fans would get this story is through a comic.

Yay, comics! It's internally inconsistent anyway with its dates, but the first set of comics could still be in film continuity if the release dates were slightly fudged. Is it me or does Tarantula Man look like a cross between the Grinch and Caligari?

Caligari from "Cabinet of Dr Caligari"? He looks more like Caesar, the somnambulist that does the actual "wet work" for the doctor. Great expressionist film, don't run across many people that are familiar with that one. Good observation.

Hi again, Josh it’s me Robbie. I want you to know that I have heard of the novel stories of the film series according to the novels that came out about them as the whole book novels of them, but the comments did not really canon except for those of them that is Into the comics and whatever else that’s out there but I think there might be a prequel to the movies so if there is one you consider putting that and also the pretty cool side of things if there is something like that out there, including would you include the day of green howling movies and see were they fit according to all the films all put together , except for Rob Zombie‘s version of Halloween if you want to redo or remaster your Halloween movie timeline be cool too if you wanted to do that that up to you then just like I told you about the X-Men according to X-Men origins so glad I said that goes first Then I want to suggest you that I only leave it up to you to make your own mind up to make your choice if you wanted to do timeline you don’t have to because there is Deadpool VS Wolverine coming out already know that you will universally do it in the future I’m not saying I have to do my timeline did it so far but as far as you and me squared pretty much I would talk to you but here’s something that you can do at least try to revisit your older town line of the Halloween movies and see where the David Gordon greens Halloween versions and see where they fit. If they fit is later on then why would Jamie Lee Curtis allow herself get killed off and Halloween resurrection if there was going to be another Halloween 2018 and Halloween kills and Halloween ends so it was possible I didn’t know what you think of it to you updating also revisit that franchise again. I’ll leave it up to you now. You don’t have to say anything to me if you don’t want to, but I know Josh and I don’t like it that you’re being silent to me. I was teasing and joking and messing with you , the last time around about that I always leave it up to you if you make these a timeline now is a time for you to be my friend again and talk with me. I promise you I will not be obsessed X-Men timeline or X-Men timeline that I will not anymore , I’m not obsessed. Some people has about them. That’s why I asked you to make your time and how it works for you so the best way for me is to say that you can do. I knew Halloween timeline or something like that. I’m just saying it is up to you and giving you a choice to include all movies put together you don’t have to put Rob Zombie version of the Halloween movies. That’s all you to do. It’s up to you and it’s your choice. When I have too much love and respect for you, Josh Spiegel, there is an order which will be coming out and I hope that you understand that there is going to be an annoying movie added to your timeline, the boy which movies and your timeline Because I got Jason Blum to do another movie added to the Lord of the Blair witch movies. This one must be a prequel before the events of the Blairwood project. I’m going to say for now and said, I said if you decide to revisit your Halloween timeline then I hope that you get to do that by your own choice because I leave it up to you now, same thing with the X-Men as I see it as don’t do it for me do for yourself. Some people argues over X-Men first class and X-Men origins. At least you have figured out for yourself and for me as well. I said I always leave it up to you. It’s always been your alley the whole time I always give you the choice to do it. Just give you the choice to do , the butterfly movies no, I give you that idea of doing the boogie man movies but they are remastering that now so when they come out with the other ones that you actually consider making a timeline video on how many movies is equated to the bogeyman films, like I said it’s up to you and it’s always has been your choice not mine and I always leave it up to you to do it. That’s all I ever say to you. Talk about their issues and problems. Do you have a problem with me being overly obsessed about the line don’t talking about it said it’s always been up to you and has been and will be your choice. That’s all I ever give. There are somewhat canon, but not all that can I want it comes to the novels there can be a show Loomis younger and I’m a different case before he was with , Michael Myers, or something like that there will be a revival to the Halloween franchise will be arrival to other films as based on it, but I will leave it up to you to revisit that and do a redo or do some type of new timeline to the new films that’s out now don’t just do it for me do it for yourself and do it for yours and subscribers? But don’t listen to them for your viewers and your friends and subscribers like me and like I said it’s always been and always will be up to you. Just like giving you a choice.

What these comics are telling me is that nobody can come up with an original storyline without retreading old ground. It's like the writers asked, "How can we take almost everything that watered down John Carpenter's Halloween and make it worse?" And then, did it. It's no longer about a guy randomly murdering people for no reason, it's a soap opera.

@@movietimelines I’ll have to try that, I can find hard copies in the comic book store. I did find digital copies of the Action Lab Puppet Master series, and those comics are better than most of the later sequels
