Basically nobody has "low-paid whipping post" on their life aspirations list, but the fact that you can't even imagine being in a situation where that's going to be the much less terrible alternative to what will happen to you if you don't do it - well, you're very lucky and I hope you appreciate your situation and the support you have. I've had to take far more soul-destroying jobs than just customer service, and whilst I'm very grateful that it's been many years since I've been forced to take a crappy job of any kind, I don't kid myself that customer service will never again be the least-worst option I have, haha.

My worst call was when a lady kept me on the phone for an hour and a half while she very slowly chose items from the catalogue.. and then when she was finally done and I asked for her payment info, said, "oh I have to pay now? All at once? Well never mind then" and hung up.

Interesting note: Its quite likely the angel in this game is based off of a Cherub. They are multi headed and are part human, ox, lion, and bird. This is the same type of angel said to have guarded the entrance to the Garden of Eden.

Also someone should *totally* make a horror game where biblical angels are the enemy (the ringed ones or the animal-esque ones with many eyes on their multiple wings). And we're evil. Ik this game is that, but I wanted to see them portrayed accurately. Imagine them singing the same chant over & over, sounding like the Winter Lanterns in Bloodborne. Or when they talk, sounds of thunder, trumpets or flooding water would be heard, or they'd sound like a multitude. Biblical angels have so much potential to make you crap your pants.

As someone who did work in customer services i can confirm this is accurate, our building had various companies working in it from telemarketers to service reps (my job) now the room had a fish eye camera on the ceiling that viewed the room top down. My Dept manager was a bit of a prankster and knowing this i put foward a prank for his approval.....we rearanged the desks so it would look like a pentagram on the security feed.....took them a week to notice what we had done, this then gave wasy to a spate of similar such events from other departments culminating in someone summoning the devil in the cafeteria during the night shift and screensavers being changed to animated glowing Pentagrams........good times

I like how all the co-workers in the office at the start seem to be references to Slasher killers with cute little cues into who they are, yet not too obvious. Still don't know a few, but most of the names and descriptions were pretty clear. Micheal sneaked by me at first, but Freddy is the most obvious in this one.
