The thing about the Quiet place creatures is they have armored skin that can stop bullets. The high frequencies cause immense pain, and make the plates on their head spasm, exposing the weak flesh underneath, opening up a weakness to take a shot. And it’s not just high frequencies, it has to be LOUD. You gotta be blasting it from a Bluetooth speaker or something, a simple whistle will only annoy or deter them.

(SPOILERS, READ FURTHER AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION) In the movie, the deaf girl’s hearing aids emit the same frequency that hurts the monsters, but only on a small scale, and she is able to use a microphone hooked up to a loudspeaker to amplify the volume of the frequency, which causes the monster’s head to spasm out like I said. It’s kinda like using electroshock therapy to purposefully induce a seizure.

Fun fact: the person who trained the actor that plays The Terrifier is Stefan Karl he played the main villain from Lazy Town the one that sang the song 'We are number 1' yeah he made The Terrifier more scary cause you can tell the clowns movement is just like how the moved in Lacy Town very animated/cartoonist. Weapons. That garbage bag was just filled to the brim with weapons. You see it intro him packing bunch of murder tools and you can see him retrieve more bullets from the same bag later on when he was about to kill you-know-who. In 2nd movie this is even more clear because you see him literally pull out murder tools at one scene at cashier and there is even another scene in 2nd movie in which one of his victims got a glimpse of his bag inside and it was just bunch of different murder weapons inside it. By the way, said victim has the worst death in this franchise. Yes, way worse than even saw scene.

Broken bottles, tools (bloody from previous victims), etc. were in the bag revealed in the 2nd movie, he also progressively gets more…creative in the deaths. And he is theorized to be the father of a character from the 2nd movie (only a theory) but it’s also not likely, he is an older man (if you pay attention to when he is applying makeup in the intro to the movie) but there are many theories about the franchise. I’ve seen both movies and want to see the 3rd purely out of curiosity and the fact I love horror movies, also because I can’t imagine deaths getting much worse from the combined 1st and 2nd movies. 😅
