Also, since Poltergeist was directed by Tobe Hooper, he also directed my homemade movie with Ean Manley, “The Dream Thief”, which is about two sisters, Sarah and Britt, who got bad dreams because of a fish-like creature that gave them nightmares. So, the sisters try to capture the creature so they can get their good dreams back. Ean Manley, who directed it, would later on direct the remake of Keroppi: The Christmas Eve Gift for Paramount Pictures in 2008.

Ever since the Poltergeist remake of 2015 is from 20th Century Fox & MGM, perhaps all of the Poltergeist movies and the TV series are exclusively distributed by 20th Century Fox (with MGM). In case Aadi Kandasamy and others know, not all pre-1986 MGM movies and shows are distributed by Warner Bros. For example, "Ramrod" (1947) is distributed by Paramount Pictures (for Republic Pictures) and "The Taking of Penlam 123" (1974) is distributed by Sony (for Columbia).
