It's a tokyo ghoul reference. Might be neo, but that is 100% kaneki's eye

@@malthevilstrup7577 It looks similar to Kenaki but it really isn't. The character is a version of Neo from the Grimm RWBY artwork by dishwasher1910. He has many images of Grimm versions RWBY characters on both his deviantart and patreon profiles, including more of this Neo. The red irises with black sclera is used in the actual RWBY series for Salem and so he used it for all his other Grimm character artwork. Neo might resemble Kenaki here, with one normal eye and one black and red one, but that's coincidence as the actual Neo character had heterochromia and her eyes switch back and forth between colors, and so a Grimm version of her has that heterochromia as well. Now did Rooster teeth design Salem with inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul? Maybe or maybe not, I don't know.
