Great plot idea. I thought the ending with the napkin and the two eye holes was really a cool idea. This is just my opinion, but you should have just left it right where he sees those really creepy green eyes through the napkin holes!!!I Although the girls face was done well, I dunno, I think if you left it with just the eyes, it would be more frightening because the viewers can then imagine the most horrific face on that girl. It leaves it all up to the viewer to imagine THEIR most intense look of creepiness. And two, it leaves the story more believable that he was imagining everything and the ending would be dramatically ambivalent Again, it's easy for me to say these things...haha...the work is definitely there and the film was great. I love originality and this was a solid idea. TERRIFIC JOB!

Thanks for the compliments. In retrospect, you might be right. It might've been more effective without showing her face (the makeup was panned by one festival we didn't make). It was one of those things that we put a lot of work into that never crossed my mind as a possibility to be left on the cutting room floor. Sofia (Dinah) is only 13 and I bought some really great fangs that just didn't fit. She has the uppers in but you can't even tell. We also shot this in July last year and it was extremely warm. Some of the makeup was starting to droop. A real editor probably would've cut it, but for now I still edit my own stuff. I'm learning.

Really creepy short horror film. Nicely shot and edited. I also liked that there was a back story and narrative (reminiscent of The Ring but on KZbin); not just some random monster which pops up at the end for a jump scare.

While I do believe there are legitimate reasons to dislike a youtube video, to do so for the sole reason of being a jerk does not in anyway benefit the community and only adds to the surplus of unhappiness in the world. In my opinion, it's much better to leave a comment with your critiques, and suggestions, so that the creator can work to improve their videos, and hopefully make something you do enjoy next time. Just don't be nasty about it.

My city has gone into yet another lock down and work from home is getting to me. I needed something to take my mind off all this and that's how I got there. You guys have done a wonderful job here. Some genuinely scary moments here. A good ending. Some stuff: 1. Some youtube videos are crappy and the dislike button is useful. It can be abused, yes. 2. This film is more like dark humor....Like my video or else! :). Loved it. I was laughing a bit at the ending. 3.I guess that lots of folks use bots to get a huge number of likes/dislikes. 4. You have an old guy with the typewriter. His laptop OS appears to be Windows 10 and the guy is using the Edge browser? No wonder the ghost got him:). 5. Starting from 0:49, you have a blackboard with stuff on it. Anything related to this video or random scribbling? Just curious. 6. Last but not least, I will definitely like this video:). Peace.

Thanks. We do practical FX because I personally suck at computer generated FX. Everyone seems to like our chimney shot and we’re glad. In reality, the stove pipe for a chimney is like 4-6” in diameter. Ours was 14”.

That was one hell of a ride , at least poor Dinah did get to show us her magic & a fine finale to boot . We all know that we won't always like what we see but in the case where it's really a terrible tale you don't hit that silly button , he did as it seemed he didn't like anything & he i must admit it ,was fun watching her taunt him into the state he was ready to piss his pants & just as he bails out of his love for hitting the button Dinah pulls off her best trick . I loved this just for the fact she was not an Evil young lady but i do believe she had had enough of that damned button. Perfect atmosphere for a ghost story that stands up to some of the best i've seen from these great short films. As kids go they can be as mean as any monster as that's usually what they are with the help of their parent's & so called friends , we only wish Dinah will move on but before she does there are certain schoolmates that desperately need her help as she helped this guy. Beautiful & sad story & very well done . It never ceases to amaze me scared folks lock doors when there's a spirit or ghost after them , yea that's gonna keep them out RIGHT !!!

Really effective and scary. I hope Dinah doesn't kill me for saying this, but just a thought: the video quality, clothing and set design makes Dinah look like she existed in the early 1900s, was surprised to hear she was a victim of online bullying. Might be cool if she was a victim of good old fashioned 1900s bullying, although I imagine kids didn't run around with cameras back then. Anyway, really creepy, loved it.
