Ok, I had to say this: I'm not trying to share too much, but here I go. I have medically diagnosed Autism, and severe PTSD. Ian, your narration is one of the few things that actually help me sleep. I will be forever grateful. Thank you for your hard work.

Thanks for sharing. I'm glad I can be of some minor help in that respect.

In the early 1990s, I worked at a department store in a mall in Illinois. There was a man who often shopped there whose lower jaw was missing. He spoke with a voice box. I never found out what happened to him, but he was a really nice guy and I was always happy to see him.

Hey Ian/HB! Thank you for the great stories this month! I've been a listener for about 5 years. I *really* like the new stuff, that is, from contemporary authors such as Tamlan Dipper. More of this, please!

Job Vacancy: Priest of Lost Atlantis. The two qualities that we’re looking for in applicants are hubris and stamina; stamina will be particularly important since the successful applicant will be expected to have to swim very long distances under extremely difficult and challenging conditions.

Hi Ian. U are extremely active! I’m struggling to keep up! I’m just in the beginning of this, but I have to tell this- So, I know this guy who got into a big bar fight, and subsequently got bitten on the face! 😆. And as far as I know still has this war wound. My life….

@HorrorBabbleКүн бұрын
Concern appreciated! I did the same thing back in 2021. Of the 24 videos scheduled for the month, only two are left to complete. No need to worry, I plan these things well in advance. (Looking ahead to barren January... joke!)

I'm not a fan of these stories. The quality of the writing could be better, in my opinion. The quality of the narration didn't suffer, though!😉
@HorrorBabbleКүн бұрын
Burks is divisive, I think. Very prolific, too. Lovecraft was a fan of Bells of Oceana though, appreciative of the 'outsideness' of the story. High praise indeed from HPL!
@tamlandipper29Күн бұрын
I am approaching mindful of your criticism. So far I'd say it is a bit contrived but no worse than Conan Doyle who often has a kind of meta-inevitability. What really grates for me is that the bit characters, like the corpsmen, 'sound' stilted. Not Ian's narration, but the text.

Warren died in front of a live audience tonight. It was awful. He has ZERO talent for stand up comedy.

I wasn't there, but I heard he gave a rather stiff performance.
