Actually, the "ghost" at 11:30 is a spider-like entity that appears in the dark to kill you, so someone needs to flash it with the flashlight so it disappears, making it invisible as you spawned it. A real spider can spawn too, it'll launch webs for you to get stuck on. There's also another monster which is a hunter, it aims and grabs the player with a hook only to drag it closer to him and punch you. Another rare would be the Streamer, who is similar to a player but carries a bunch of equipment, it will attack the player by using a taser / shock stick. There's also a Mime that moves in "slo-motion" (like 1 frame every 3 seconds). Then there's the Snail queen, which is a floating tentacle-like entity who will spawn tons of snail when close to it. A similar monster to the snail is a snake/worm, who functions similar, it joins to players together and it is significantly slower. Finally, a little guy (similar to a frog, I think) can appear, it is the other harmless monster that I know (aside from the slime), who sometimes will scream extremely loud, only to run away. But you can catch him :]

fun fact: any kind of monster that is inside the overworld is fully blacked out, unless a light is shined on it. this also applies to the hats hidden in phil's hat shop, just get a flashlight and they will become colored if you brighten them

Not sure why the video we're commenting on didn't say the big slapper (goop giant) can be found rarely in the normal levels, that was like that before the big update that added most of the monsters the top comment talks about

Wallo, ghost, Mimic man and angler are not in game but given that they have AI and working mechanics, I really hope they show up in the next major update if any. As well as the other toolkits and bites (which apparently bites isn’t even in the game, not even in the files. Which considering you haven’t found it, confirms it’s probs been removed for good.)

There’s a mod that allows you to spawn in the unused monsters, all of the monsters described in the video as unused don’t spawn naturally. There could’ve also been a user in a public lobby spawning them in using hacks or something

2:56 "House" is probably just a root object for the house assets (or was? hard to say since I don't know what your decompiler/BTS access method preserves). Effectively a "folder" to store all the other assets in the world under, and so all these assets are positioned relative to the box. I do this frequently in my VRChat worlds, though usually I turn the renderer off. Using a cube instead of an invisible object is probably so they can click on it easier in the editor.

The way the mirror works in this game is quite clever! Instead of a real reflection (which needs path tracing and could bog down the system), there's another camera opposite the player mimicking their position, and the "mirror" is just displaying what that camera is seeing. (edit: at least I think that's how it works)

I've actually had that happen to me before, it teleported right in front of me and my buddy and immediately vanished again. I guess since we didn't see it's eye it didn't aggro, and we just got tons of views.

yeah Flicker has a taunting mechanic where it flickers into existence briefly also looking at it doesn't actually put you into the dying animation unless it's been in attack mode for ~1-2 seconds. It makes a distinct noise, then shows up with a red light and drags your camera towards it if it's nearby, then if you're looking at it you die and if you're not you're fine, and you can even record it in selfie mode or by turning on the camera and dropping it in the right way

I think that once you jump off the surface it brings you to the old world, meaning the surface is just a platform that is connected to the old world but just not all abandoned and infested

the ghost isn't a ghost well the one with a knife is but the invisible one is like a spider it is pretty common outside and it goes away in the light and then teleports away waiting for your light to go off. there's also a spider spider but it launch's webs that are pretty hard to get away from. and there's another monster you missed that has a grappling hook that it shoots at you then pulls you in and kicks you i have only seen it in the mines map. there's another that is a small gremlin looking thing i dont know what it does but it doesn't hurt you unless you think your ears popping getting hurt
