Wow absolutely beautiful architecture here my friend the people who built this old world had vast vast levels of skill we truly cant fathom. Thanks for sharing ✌

Wow. I find it hard to fathom the absolute void that must exist within your head. The building is from 1890, which is not that long ago. It is pretty well recorded how these buildings were built and while it does take some skill, none that you surely possess, it was absolutely feasible. Try to take a look at Il Duomo in Florence. It was completed in 1436.

@@CPZangenberg i beg to differ, this building is much older than 1890, point me to the evidence to support the date of construction, i will be fathomless until then.

I just discovered your channel while doing research for my next video on Wichita. thanks for the stellar BOTG and excellent narration. Glad I found you!

This is likely why cities are built where they are... they grow up around these supernatural stone structures.

I live in Wichita and I've never took the time to really stand outside the building and seriously take a look at it! This blows me away! So much detail and I also question HOW in the world did people build this in that era!!! Especially with seeing the horse n buggy standing next to it! Great coverage 👍👍👍

You really inspired me to go out and take some pictures here in Texas. I have a two fold agenda and videos like these really fit in. Temple, Texas is a rail road town and of course 1881 is the date of founding.... I took my first building videos today but have not watched them yet. The more I took the more buildings I found. Anyway, keep up the good work!

4.30. looks like "the green man" sculpted or cast into the architecture. It is basically a "Pagen" symbol, super old symbolism.

yea. I'd like to see how identical they are. Could they have been poured?

Not every building with windows and doors to a basement level are "mud flood" buildings. Some buildings from 1890-1910 had several floor below ground level.

Looks like a 19th century building to me. I think you'll find actual skyscrapers in NY and Chicago from this era

the stones in that building were brought up on the river, the river is about 2 blocks west of the old city hall. the second building was a carnage library, it was used as the city library until early 1960's then a new one was built across the street. sadly, the new library is now closed and another one is built across the river. It seems like the city has more dollars than sense.

The building to the north is old world too, just a facade on the front and sides to cover it but if you walk into the alley off of Williams street you can see the old architecture on the backside facing east...

The architecture near the front entrance all lines up. The bottom of the windows and the bottom of the door. How did they redesign it so it looks this way? Why would they have a doorway that lines up with second floor windows? They couldn't have re-carved the front with it all lining up if it was flooded.
@hiddentruthhiddentruth Жыл бұрын
Just as an exercise, take it as a given that it was in fact flooded so to speak... then answer those questions... I would be interested what you come up with... then I will give you a few ideas also.

Amazing building , huge and complex building blocks and incredible ornaments . This was supposedly created during the early stages of nation building , when resources were limited and priorities were somewhere else , more urgent . This story don't add up . Once again , excellent vid , well done !

Man your work is awesome, some of us feel exactly like you do about this. Something is wrong with the time frames for all this this is simply to much Roman architecture to be found in America. Could it be America is really the old western Roman empire? Please share your opinion on this by message or video. I would love to hear you share your own feelings about how this came to be.👍❤❤❤
