Actually it is very common to lunge horses during lessons if there is enough room and from what I can tell the horse was probably at the other end of the arena and decided it want to go see the horse being lunged and it’s very hard to control a horse once it has committed to doing something so the rider was trying to steer away but ended up causing confusion in the horse so they ended up colliding. @crystal_ackerman3727Ай бұрын
I wouldn't say that it's too big. I think it would have been easier if it was only one stride between the 2 jumps to set it up well. Also the girl didn't put enough momentum in pushing the horse on to give the horse more confidence to do the jump. She needed to sit back and keep the horse in the movement to get the horse over. That's what I see from a brief perspective. And you know Some horses also aren't as forward going and need you to keep the control over the situation more together in moments like this when you're doing large jumps.

Ok this is coming from an equestrian who is above the age of 12 and has done a lot of research on horseback riding. Why in the world are you all so dumb? Not to be rude but why can’t we have any sympathy for the riders. Yes a lot of the people in these videos could have ridden the fail better but when a horse spooks, bucks, bolts, spins, or refuses a jump it is extremely hard to be prepared and stay on. Also when a horse sees another horse and wants to say hello while you are ridding it’s really hard to control the horse and tell it to turn away. These are 1200 lbs ANIMALS for crying out loud! If they want to do something we can’t really stop them! Yes I could be the riders fault but it can also be the horses! Please don’t comment things that are not true, are uneducated, or are just rude because it makes you look like a rude person who doesn’t know anything and it can teach young children the wrong thing. If a young rider were to see a comment that said “it’s the ridders fault” when a rider falls off after a buck and a child sees it they are going to think. “Well I guess I’m bad at ridding and if you fall off you’re a bad rider” that is not what we should be teaching these people! So please do your research and be kind!! ❤😊
