​@@phillyb5761sometimes, old horse shoes generate pressure and disconfort for the horse. Cleaning, trimming and a new shoes may relieve the animal afterward. Also, sometimes, the hoof may be injured generating pain. Good farrier are some kind of first line veterinarian.

@ЮрийЛысенков-б7щ я родился и всю жизнь живу на Кубани. Причём, так получилось, что не далеко от моего дома была колхозная конюшня. Естественно, я как и любой пацан, очень любил проводить там время. А после армии, даже полгода работать , верхом на коне объезжая поля нашего колхоза "Россия". Самому ковать лошадей не приходилось, но видел эту процедуру, сотни раз! Кстати, у нас ковали только на передние копыта, задние очень редко. И естественно, любой владелец лошади умел это делать! Ну и потом, я же в шутку это написал... про не дорого!

That sound wasn’t the horse it was added in after it was a cow the horse is fine huge draft horses like that usually get their massive heavy feet tied up to make it easier for the farrier to work on them it’s does hurt them at all and since they weight so much he/she doesn’t have to carry the weight during the shoeing
