First, hello to dora and bruno. Had a good time at their resort. Have'nt been back since 2006. Health has not been good to me witch has kept me from those lake trout. I had the most luck trolling the shoreline from the east end to just past the eagles Nest and rope swing. The lure that gave me the most hookups was the hammered silver and the gold williams warbler. Back then i was useing lead core line and let out about 5 to 6 colors(1 color down equals 6ft depth). If sunny i found trolling with sun behind u, was very productive. Directly across from resort, there is a very bad snag that u need to avoid. Lost a few lures there. Im sure there r some rods down on the bottom. Word of warning. Watch out for sudden storms. Got caught on the lake MAY 24 2001 when a supercell came out of nowhere.I was luckey to make it back to the dock. Hopefully l can someday make it back there.
