If a fatality occurs in a race, horse or jockey, the race itself should be declared void and all bets are off. That would give everyone an incentive to clean things up and make sure horses are physically and mentally sound to compete.

Horseracing should be safe but there are a lot of wrong uns involved. The BHA do NOTHING about rampant doping. This could be doing all sorts of damage to horses.

Not all horses like being boxed. I have seen horses panic, try and climb over stable doors before. Poor horse died, aged 2 at the definition of you must win to continue your racing career.

You have obviously NEVER SEEN a horse go through a car windscreen and struggle to free itself waiting for a vet for nearly an hour to put it down. A horse has around 60 litres of blood. Try clearing that up oh and the driver was killed. Then say that's abuse.

Horses don't have heart attacks they bust there main artery I can't remember the medical term but what ever happened it was no fault of the industry the horse just came to the end

@@whichypoohs Do you know what is sadder is watching a horse land on a sports car because the driver wanted to see what the horse would do it landed on the car killing 2 passengers having the car ariel go through its thigh muscle injuring the rider breaking her leg arm and ribs, then the horse survived for 3 months before being put down. IN RACING THE VET IS ON CALL. A ROAD ACCIDENT INVOLVING A HORSE YOU CAN WAIT UP TO AND MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR THE VET TO ARRIVE. WORK OUT WHICH IS BETTER. I have worked with racehorses and riding schools and racing is far more humane.
