This filly is regally bred, her sire is a G3 winner, both grandsires(top & bottom) are G1 winners and THEIR sires are G1 winners and 2 TRIPLE CROWN WINNERS all within the first 5 gen. of her pedigree.. It's not just sad to see her end up in an auction, it's criminal..She's a baby(born in 2019) something not right here and very glad Horse plus found her and saved her from the kill buyers.This filly is unraced and probably just started training at the track or was getting ready too which means no bad track habits to unlearn. If she's sound and just needs weight and time to grow up her breeding shows a wide variety of talents she would excel at.( hunter/jumper/3day event/dressage/western pleasure/trail are all with in her breeding wheel house) Her 2x great grandsire (on her daddy's side) Gone West was known to produce horses that excelled in the showring as well as on the track. They are smart,hard workers,willing to please,love to learn and very loyal. I know from experience, I showed quite a few of Gone West's baby's and grand babies in hunter/jumper and friend's that did 3 day event (including Dressage at Devon and Rolex 3 star events in KY.)ALL of these horses were off the track. Some of the BEST horses I had the Privilege to ride,train and work with in my over 40 years working with horses. This filly is a diamond in the rough and anyone who adopts her will not regret it. I know I never did..

So happy that you guys could save all of the horses, ponies, and donkeys. Just really pisses me off that people can't accept the responsibility of equine ownership and do what's right by their animals. Having to euthanize is just part of owning an equine. If you can't accept that then you have no business owning an equine. Period. People who dumped them at that auction are cowards and should never be allowed to own anything, not even a goldfish.

do you eat other animals? just curious
@nevermind197003 жыл бұрын
@@Catofminerva ,, nope. But trucking sickly , starved horses from the States to Quebec , in freezing cold temps , is inhumane and cruel. If an animal is to be killed for consumption , then at least keep it healthy and fed & find a Humane way to kill it. Horses are killed with an air gun to the head. There are plenty of video's of the Quebec slaughter houses of horses being beaten , tortured and shot repeatedly with high powered air guns ( idk proper name ) but you get the idea. Also , workers laughing while killing the horses. Same ppl that enjoy torturing animals, will also make the leap to killing humans. Lots of serial killers admit to torturing & killing animals at some point in their life. Most people have no idea what goes on in the real world. They just see a pkg of meat wrapped up in the supermarket, never even considered how it got there.
@Catofminerva3 жыл бұрын
@@nevermind19700 I’m curious, what is a ‘humane’ way to kill someone that doesn’t want to die and for a reason as trivial as sensory pleasure (taste)? Humane by definition means “compassionate and benevolent”.

Such beauties! I loved seeing the little mama and baby go running out into the pasture, as though they were seizing their one chance - now they'll get that chance again and again 💜

It must be heartbreaking to deal with such injuries and health problems in the auction horses. You have a great team to support each other.
