A tip for tourists going to Poland in autumn or winter. You need to dress warmly; warm jacket, hat, gloves, scarf, warm pants and warm high boots. In autumn it is not so cold, but a slight breeze is enough and you will freeze because the air is humid, while in winter, e.g. in Zakopane, we have to dress warmly, there is a lot of snow and it is cold due to the altitude, but when there is no wind and the weather is sunny, it is easy to tan . For people from Western Europe it is cold, for Poles it is not so cold anymore, looking back it was really cold [-20], but climate change is clearly visible.

I agree with the warm clothes, for us it was a shock to how cold it was! Especially during the horse sleigh ride you could see we was covered with snow and my hair was frozen haha 😅 but we absolutely loved it! Since I’ve never seen so much snow in my lifetime it was amazing 😍❤️

I see that you are dressed appropriately for this time of year. There is not much light, probably a weather anomaly. In January it was +12 C* in Poland?!

It was around -10°c at the time and even after wearing layers of clothes we was still freezing haha since we’re not used to the weather but yes definitely make sure to wear appropriate clothes when coming here 😊

How much u cost for horse ride ? Are they pick up from hotel or go by yourself to their place? 😊

Hi! 😊 it was around £120 for the VIP package so that includes an hour sleigh journey and an hour next to the fire with traditional music, food (which you get to cook yourself by the fire ) and drinks etc; we got a taxi there (£10 which was really cheap ) but I think you can arrange a pick up if you ask them about it :) I’ll put the link for their website below ❤ and thank you for watching !!

However you can get cheaper options if you choose to go with other people for the horse sleigh, so it will have multiple horse sleighs with other people doing it too 😊 but we wanted it to be just for us and more personal

Hello, i was thinking of booking 26th december until 1st January 25, can you recommend booking it in Zakopane rather than Krakow? we want beautiful snow daily, and to be able to do things with our kids.
