@@dangerousfeather why? Jesse was correct, and wasn't being nasty about it. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body! Antares is his horse, and he just wants him ridden correctly, so not to create any bad habits (via ANY other human) that HE inevitably could potentially have to spend the extra time 'undoing' and reinforcing correct riding skills, and 'commands/non verbal- physical cues', etc. Anyone taking that personally and "feels 'angry' in their soul".. is just showing an inability to take corrections and apply them, positively.. without causing gross vibes even around, let on ANY horse.. showing what their TRUE 'not very nice nature'.. must really be like. !?? 😕 They're a couple. He's not Matt's teacher. Not like he may have even unintentionally, sent some kid home, after a private lesson, in tears. Despite different personality traits.. I'm sure Matt is fine, & got over any bruised EGO feelings, if any.. even if temporary, or he'd of demanded that Jesse edit that bit out!

You are both good teachers. I know Jesse teaches tricks, etc., but I haven't heard that Matt had ever taught humans (of course, when he rides his horses he is teaching), but he did a good job. He was patient, did not get annoyed when he had to explain something further, & was quick with praise. Generally, training animals helps in teaching humans in my experience.
@elizabethmancz41504 жыл бұрын
It occurs to me that given this is Jesse's page, I spent more time on someone else, which is rude. Sorry. You are an excellent teacher, Jesse - all of my praise for Matt is true of you as well. I am impressed by your patience & your positivity - I train my dogs positively & it isn't always easy to conceal frustration & train the way you want to train. You are also good at setting up the situation & letting the horse figure it out. (That's something I'm working on.) Your devotion to your animals shines through. Totally off topic, but you might consider getting an exercise pen for Penny & Mazy - they could be together & you could put their pee pads further away from their beds. That way they would learn not to relieve themselves in the crate.
