for those wondering ben says "isnt there a thing that lets arc boys shoot up" @29:34 and there is. There is a whole tech tree you can unlock giving units something like 8-10 different upgrades to choose from, but a unit can only equip 4 of them at a time. So if he wanted them to shoot up he would first have to unlock the tech, then swap out one of the current upgrades he has for the ARCs for the Anti-Air upgrade. Its actaully a really good system as it means that even if you see the same units over and over again, you never quite sure what upgrades and abilities they have access to.

Of course, then we see that Tom has like 18 tech points, so he's probably never realized himself you need to buy stuff and switch out upgrades.

idek how wheels would work in this considering the totally random elements of the game itself (what units each specialist starts with, the specificity of placement, the sheer number of things you can do with your monies between the research center, command center, buying units, upgrading units, picking end cards, etc.) like the game is already plenty random without the wheels lmao

bens confusion at tom for seeing what he was doing gave me a realization i hadn't had in 60 hours that this particular mechanic is a core reason for this games success! its such a minor but ingenious detail! as it kinda gives you something to do when you end your turn early and watching your opponent play can be fun ,seeing how they place things can give you insight which is hardly a benefit but gives you something to do and talk about which is the important part, in a lot of games you just end turn sit and wait for 30 seconds tab out look at your phone because literally nothing is happening on screen. bottom line really good design by mechabellum love this game.

Love mechabellum. =D The horse format doesn't really work for this game, since it has it's own scoring. You could do 1 letter per match, but that might be long. Love it anyway you serve it though. =D

@@korenn9381 Eh, that kind of ruins a lot of the strategy in Mechabellum, since "how much" you win each round by is really really important (like, you can win 5 dinky rounds and still lose the game with a couple really beefy losses)

@@GeneralJosh13 it does remove that aspect of mechabellum strategy - but the horse mechanic introduces its own. in horse winning with 1 wasp is as good as winning with 10 super heavy mechs. A different game mode has its own strategies.

Tom, you have 18 tech points! Spend them! You need to buy the other techs and switch them out for the default loadouts per unit. Also new update has changed some things since this video was made; can't buy nukes now, there's a new specialist and balance changes all-round. Elite specialist might be more viable now, but remains to be seen.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1280 BENNY BOI IS HERE FOR MECHA HORSE, such grand times :D. Also, kind of funny to see the Tom/Ben Hivemind with their similar plays XD Why the heck did Ben call then "Skypners" and not "Skypers". I mean, you call them "Snipers" not "Snipners" XD I tell you, that Round 1 of the 3rd match. I was going to comment how the shot shouldn't have been debuffed as it was in the air when the tower fell, but going back, my god. The sniper shot was fired literally 2 frames after the tower fell, damn that was close XD God, on that last match, Ben wasn't just a HORSE, he was a HORSERS, or whatever we call HORSE+2 XD
