James and Rachael Tingue, and Jake and Nolan Sherlock help lug two teams of Belgian draft pulling horses in two different stages of experience. I can only wish that the 'good time' quoted at the beginning is also the 'long time' for you. I like it how your bays do not nervously jump into the the load, but calmly wait for your command. That makes them special among pulling horses. They are also easier to hook up this way.

Having them handle well, helps them start together, avoid injuries, and just plain looks better.

OK, so this is like going to the gym for horses! New word for my vocabulary, lugging. Good looking team! I don't know if I'm asking this question correctly but: What class/weight class is this team in? I love watching the pulls at our fair in September!

Jim and Elvis, and Rusty’s team are lightweights,(3450 and under). Nick’s team are in the farm class, (no weight limit- just flat shoes).

I try to do logging year round.

The only time I run into trouble is some years the ground hornets are just nuts and you can hit five and more nest a day.When it gets like that you just have to find something else to do or get into some different ground to work. I like that you work your pulling horses at real jobs , makes for a very well rounded horse. Up here an old guy I use to work with was a good puller and won a lot of trophies . He could take those same horses and do hay rides or log some , just good old pulling Belgians . I am running behind on your videos man , not sure how I will catch up LOL... Be safe out there .
