As an equestrian, when I heard biggy talking about how horse riding isn’t a sport and how the horse does all the work.. All respect, but if the horse did all the work then everyone would be in the Olympics, horse riding is an Olympic sport!!!. The technique and skill you need just to ride a horse isn’t as easy as you think. You can hurt a horse if you’re not riding them properly, your legs, head, your entire body and muscles all work just to move the horse. Horses have minds of their own and you can’t control it in a split second you can d!e, brake bones and LOADS of injuries. So before anyone says it Isn’t a sport, it is, in fact an Olympic one. I hope this helped and this wasn’t to have a go at anyone just for educational reasons!!

As an equestrian I can say that horse riding is most definitely a sport and is not just the horse doing the work there is a difference between just sitting on a horse for the first time and actually riding. When u do a proper lesson and don’t just walk around in a circle u will see how much core work it takes and leg and arm work also the horse definitely doesn’t just do all the work 😅

*!!PLEASE READ!!* horse riding is a sport. it's not just sitting on the horse. horse riding is a sport that requires intense core muscle, leg muscle, etc. you have to have a light seat, legs on, heals down, don't pull, stay in the middle of the saddle, sit up straight, that's just the start. it takes time, patience, understanding, and so much skill to be a good rider. you have to respect the horse and the horse has to respect you, in less than 5 seconds you could have a fatal injury. you have to think about your tack, is your girth tight enough? is your saddle too far back? is your throat lash too tight? do your stirrups fit? etc. just going for a hack, the horse could spook and run into the road, could throw you into a ditch, etc. you dont even have to be on the horse to get hurt, they can knock you over, push you into something, step on your foot. i don't know if biggy has ever been on a horse, or if he has and rode like a sack of potatoes, but he has no right to say that the horse does all the work, it is so disrespectful to equestrians. if any of the Norris nuts are reading this comment, show this to him. claiming a horse riding to be unskilled, easy, and that the horse does all the work though being so unknowledgeable about the sport is incredibly rude and disrespectful. learn what you're talking about before you talk about it. if you want to be sensitive and consider this hate, don't reply, because its literally not. its education.

As an equestrian when people say horse riding isn't a sport it really annoys me. It is very different to dog training. As an equestrian you have to be fit. You need a strong core, good cardio and leg strength. Sure the horse is doing a lot but who is working with the horse to accomplish that. If a rider was to sit there and do nothing the horse would not move. Just like how a surfboard wouldn't move without a surfer.

How dare he say horse riding isn’t a sport, not only is it physically challenging as the rider, but you also have to spend time and effort training your horse too aswell as creating a bond and trust with each other to communicate when doing the different disciplines inside the sport itself. It’s quite obvious it is a sport and I find it disrespectful to the amount of people across the world putting in so much dedication and effort in training to succeed aswell as the money spent!
