Horses coming in for dinner. They know exactly where their stalls are. The donkeys always come in the same order Andrea first, then Brittany and finally Cookie (ABC order).

Horses were ignoring the dog. Horses don't need to be herded in that situation, they are smart enough to know exactly where they are going. I used to let my horse out of his paddock 6 blocks from home and NOT once did he ever get lost or not find his way, without me, back home.

On the contrary, that is NOT the behavior you want from a dog, around horses. The dog is overstepping, and poses serious liability for this barn. If I were paying money to board my horse somewhere and they allowed a dog to nip at my horse's legs, I would be livid.
@hopeandgracetompkins37072 жыл бұрын
@@renattaburke3500 thumbs down, basically because I disagree. However, I don't these kinds of things. I not had this kind of routine. Thank you for being honest and expressed the business end of it. Because I think most people watching are making this personal. Love this. Thank you for sharing.
@renattaburke35002 жыл бұрын
@@hopeandgracetompkins3707 imagine paying thousands of dollars for an animal. Imagine paying hundreds of dollars a month just to board that animal. Add in the cost of feed, tack, routine vaccinations and worming, plus regular visits from the farrier, and you got one expensive hobby. Now imagine the people that you pay to provide your horse a safe place to live, allows their dog just snip the tendons in your horses back legs because they thought it was funny. And I'm not even touching on the physical risk to the dog at self. That dog is just one kick away from death and it's just appalling how these people are so trivial with the lives of these animals. This is just stupid animal husbandry, I'm sorry that you don't have the brain power to comprehend that.

Also had 2 very large goats and a pet sheep and whenever it started raining the sheep, William, and the goats would run from, wherever they were on the farm, into their stable to get out of the rain!!!! William lived until he was 10 years old and is buried in my garden in front of my house on the farm.
