I LOVE that cascade at Ropi Lake. I camped there a couple of years ago on the opposite side of the lake and watched the falls all day. Slept to the sound of the roar - wonderful! Great vid again - thanks! BTW. that wasn't Gefo Lake in the vid 0 it's a good deal bigger than that.

Just got back Ropi is Beautiful and not to far in that you cannot bring new hikers. Great video maybe ill see you up there one of these times. I hope a few newer hikers see your video and realize to hug the ridge not the Falls :p

Unfortunately all of the forest shown in this video up to about the 3:20 mark was incinerated in the Caldor Fire during the late summer of 2021. It's really tragic what the careless acts of a few people can bestow on the rest of us!
