Of course. This is the biggest driverless system in the world. Signalling equipment is fully computerized, supplied by Thales. Its description is on Wikipedia.

Because the train arrives at Healthcare City at the Creek platform. There it changes its direction and departs in the direction of Etisalat from the same platform/track. So it has to change tracks after departure.

Danke Dir!

@HorstHonig13 жыл бұрын

Good god the switches for the terminal are located more than a minute away from the actual terminal... how long are the rush hour headways with that kind of system?
@TrainsByUzair7 жыл бұрын
Was only temporary as the section from Dubai Healthcare City to Creek had not yet opened. However if they knew the stages in which the line would open then the crossovers should have been at DHC rather than OUM.

I heard that this Metro was costing them 8 billion and built by Japanese, but since the economic crisis of 2008, they can not pay this amount so far and re-pledge debt under 2 percent for the next few years. Given the flow of passengers and duration of the current crisis in the coming years it will never pays off by itself. Likely to be closed. Too much luxury for the town in the desert which lost all investments like "mirage".
