Looks like some pachysandra came with that one rhodea. It and the bishop weed might mix together nicely

Its from the neighbor, but it won't grow without moisture. It has sat there for three years without growing

@@JimPutnam wow 3 yrs, pachysandra doesn’t like to spread in hard clay anyway it prefers loose loamy or sandy soil it’s one of the more picky ground covers

What can be grown under a large oak tree? Shrubs, perennials, annuals, anything? Must be able to tolerate dryness as it is too far away from the house to water other than normal rainfall. Zone 6 in NE Ohio

Old fan (literally) gardening just north of Atlanta in new zone 8a. What to do when newly planted shade garden is suddenly exposed when neighbor fells row of Leylandii and Magnolia plunging beds into bright sun. I installed tall poles and strung 50fit shade cloth over most of the plants - any other suggestions?
