He’s been playing this song for over 20 years… even though there’ll never be a performance like the first take, he always makes it fresh and new. He always keeps the SIGNATURE FILLS though! ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE BEST TO EVER DO IT in Gospel!!! Much respect to this guy!

If you think this about the bass, then you underrate the original bass performance from 20 years ago - the foundation for this one.

Why is there 2 drummers? Do they actually play the same thing at the same time or each has it’s different job?

I wonder too. I see no purpose for 2. I can understand a percussionist along with the drummer

The Event is 2 Bands Collab as one. This case being Maverick City Music X Kirk Franklin. Harold Brown being MCM’s Drummer HB plays Main Parts for their songs while Terry Baker plays auxiliary type parts and Vice Versa for Kirk Franklin’s songs, TB plays main parts and HB Auxiliary. So yes each play a role, I went to their concert live the first night of the Kingdom Tour and I promise it all makes sense, you’re able to pull this off when each Musician is Disciplined and can come together and make Heavenly Music together!

I need an answer tonthis why do people use 2 drums in videos
@worshipdrummer2 жыл бұрын
My question to you is, why not? It's more challenging and forces you to play with more thought and intention since you're only getting half of the pie. As well, the setlist had a blend/mix of Kirk Franklin songs, and MAV songs... so they took turns between main groove and AUX parts.
