Our Celebrate Recovery program at Adventure Church in Roseville, CA celebrated its three-year anniversary last night. We had Hosanna come and speak to us, and she delivered this message. It blew everybody away. I have to admit that she was not what I expected. With a name like Hosanna Poetry I was expecting some sing-songy New Age type of stuff, but, boy, was I way off target. She is direct, she is honest, she is realistic, and to understate things, she is inspiring. Memorable experience.

My died in prison, I lived in that lie for years. Jesus has set me free. This is very moving and filled with truth. You don't have too be lost in a horrible life to be chained to words of doubt and unbelief about yourself. All you have to do is experience life and Satan will oblige. But God has set us free! And yes free we are from sin, death and hell! Praise the name of Jesus! Keep on for Jesus! thank you for sharing your gift with all of us and you should never hide it and I needed this one because I felt changed and I am fully in Good and I never want to sin so whenever I do I ask him if he will forgive me and I don't try to anymore but you always have sin and God is fighting for us. Whatever you are chained to, Jesus Christ has come to set you free Whatever pieces of your past you hold tight to, There's a savior who paid your debt So you can let those memories be Whatever you are so used to be defined by, The son of God has come to speak truth to those lies. And i know all this to be right because he did all that for me. So what are you chained to? Are you chained to who you used to be? The things you did, the facts you hid, The things the people who look up to you don't know about, That you have no desire to admit. Do you live in a prison of secrets? Are you chained to what people once did to you? The memories of people that mistreated their power and said some terrible things to you? Did some terrible things to you? Did some things that would break God's heart but put the blame back to you? Do you live in prison of abuse? Are you chained to what people expect of you? The expectations that you can't shake? That everyday steal a piece of you? Do you live in a prison of not feeling good enough no matter what you do? Are you chained to religion? The lists of do's and don'ts that you've accepted so you can get by with just the bare minimum? The man-made ways that you've exalted hoping you could earn salvation? Do you live in prison of traditionalism without a real revelation? Are you chained to your own sins? Feeling like you know what you want to do? What is right to do, but still you do the opposite? Do you live in a prison of your own flesh? That you feel you are stuck in? What are you chained to? Coz i don't know about you But I've been chained to all these things at one point or another. All this things have had control over me. I've been controlled by my desires and lived a life of hypocrisy. I've obeyed my flesh in the name of proving none-one else was in-charge of me! And i felt comfort in the rituals of religion. So i can convince God," Hi at least am doing my duty" And I've lived in prison most years i have been living. Coz i never truly got what Jesus did for me. I did not get that he did not come to restrict me. I did not get that he did not come as a police officer throwing a set of rules at me. I did not get that he did not come to condemn me. But rather because of sins, I was condemned already. So Jesus came to be a friend To give his life to set his friends free. I did not get that Jesus coming, dying, being buried and rising now changes everything for though we have been chained to so many things. Other than used to being a slave, Jesus said that's Unnecessary. I am creating a new way, i came died and rose to life so you could accept you too can resurrect. And you can have a new life in me. Your Chains are who you were, they are not who you are supposed to be. Romans 8 states clearly that if we are in Christ then our bodies are dead because of sin, but our spirit is alive for we have been made right with God. The same Spirit of the one who raise Jesus from the dead is now living in us. So the same God that raised Christ from the dead will give life to our bodies too. He will set us free from the chains of of sins too. He will set us free from the pains of our past too. He will set us free from who we were and give us a new life too. Because if God is not enough to raise us from the dead. If he is not enough to save us from our lives of sins. If he's not enough to redeem us from all the places we've been? Then he couldn't have been enough to resurrect Christ. But since he's not, since the tomb is empty and no Saviors's bones are laying on the graveyard. We can know and rest assured death has long been conquered. So let those Chains fall to the floor may the medal of our suckles echo loudly around the world. We were once slaves but are under bound no more. We were once dead but are under sins no more. We are alive, we are free, we are children of the king and we belong to the Lord.

Song of depression - Lili This prison cell of deep despair afforded by the State By day a nest of horrors, by night my dear escape When it’s quiet I meditate and project beyond the walls They cannot take away my gift, more free than they will ever be Caught inside walls of their minds, restricted by mundane calls The mundane calls make their lives more prison, less than free. - But in the days our lives are Hell, we’re victims of the spike Heaven knows how they obtain the snow, the pills, the horse And you relent, become their slave, you’re weak and begin to like The taste, escape from deepest pain, brutality and hate They own me now within the day I must accept my fate And silently obey their laws but there are ways, revenge O strike. - A little doll made all from soap and cursed with darkest prayer A few effects for likeness, the eyes, the hands, the hair And when you’ve made your hundred cuts their health begins to fail They spend their time in agony, they scream and scream and scream They waste away, I own her now, from strong to weak to frail A puzzle for the Doctors as they watch her die, it seems like such a dream. - I’m stuck inside for five to ten, the time will never end The violence here is all returned, I’m mostly left alone My nights are free to fly the stars, to ride where Spirits send They send me to the farthest lands, my Sisters all are one But in the days I ride the horse, I’m captured by the spike As day meets day I trudge along, punishment to bear, my life is all but gone. @@rebelgames1901 This is real poetry - CRADLE TO COVEN Lili He'll sing your babes to sleep tonight, you won't hear him, they will He'll brush their brows and croon the sounds, the sweet, sweet songs of Hell While your babies slumber deep, their simple minds repose The lullabies will take them through the night, gently soothe their wills A magick world of moons and stars, their daytime world will close They sleep so deep and softly smile, they're drinking from the well Unknown to all but Ahriman he's kneading their small souls. He plants the seed for later years, it lies on fallow ground But it's alive, biding time, awaiting fertile times As youth matures the seed matures, when questions all arise About the meaning of the life and purpose all abound What they've been taught all through the times is nothing all but lies The seed has sprouted, not all grow, the astute do, their purpose will be found.
