Hosea 6:1-6 (NKJV)
1 Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
4 "O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you?
For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, And like the early dew it goes away.
5 Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of My mouth;
And your judgments are like light that goes forth.
6 For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today is March 30, 2018. It is Good Friday. This passage from the Book of the prophet Hosea will most likely be read in churches holding services today. The prophecy is fulfilled. Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the Cross for us, though none of us deserve it.

After about a month I have learned these scriptures, my favourites anyway. I couldn't sing at first because of Fibromyalgia. Then I was healed last week. Since then I have been joining in without looking at the words I suppose I was memorising them by just listening so that when my voice came back I could just join in. I believe that this was part of my healing especially listening to Isaiah 40. They shall rise up on wings like eagles, and I have . Praise God. Listening to David Pawson prompted me to ask for prayer for healing too. So that was part of it also. I always tell the Lord how awful it is ! Then I wait for Him to prompt me to ask for healing , when He does I know it will happen. Its happened many time before. I couldn't say it better than David does in his teaching he has it absolutely right , from my experience. Hallelujah praise our Almighty God.

God has used this Word for me today. He comforted me with Hosea 6:1a in the tune of this song which I just heard earlier in the day. Despite my imperfect faith as a man, God has always renewed and restored me to Himself, renewing my hope in Him and His assurance in me for the studies He has placed me in, and in the life He has given me. I pray that God forever puts in me such a longing for Him that the good work will definitely be finished in me and I will see Him when Jesus returns :] A very beautiful soft song of reproach and healing, so many of your songs have touched me Mrs Esther :] God bless, and may He be with you and your family!

Sorry for the late reply! She's singing from the NKJV Version, and that's what it says " After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. " Hosea 6:2 NKJV
