What is the purpose and validity of a prophecy from God if man has independent authority - choice to counter it? What does that make God?

Either you believe God is omnipotent and omniscient or you don’t! There is no in between other than a gulf! If you do believe that God is omnipotent and omniscient, then God knows our thoughts and our actions even before they occur to us. How then can our actions be independent at any time of God’s knowledge and power to allow or not allow? Much of this lecture speaks of mercy. Well when does God decide to give mercy and when doesn’t God? Grace or no grace? The concept that God gives us autonomy is wholly inconsistent with omnipotence and omniscience!

If God gives man independent decision making power to sin (which In many instances results in physical harm or death to another individual), where is the independent decision making ability of the victim? Why does the perpetrator possess a greater ability (will) to inflict harm upon the victim than the victim’s ability (will) to thwart the harm? If everyone is given choice to act upon their will, why does the criminal ever prevail against those who are committing no crime? Does God strip them of their will to live? Do they consciously state that they want to be victimized? OF COURSE NOT? In order for there to be this putative “free will” given - this choice that many speak of- wouldn’t that same right and privilege extend to the victim as well as the perpetrator? Clearly that is not the case. The man who drives drunk with a .25 blood alcohol level but arrives home safely made the same choice as a man with a .25 blood alcohol level who when driving home smashes into and kills innocent motorists. But they made the same choice. The choice of man is not therefore determinative of outcome God is! The innocent people that the drunk man killed made the right “choice”. They did not drink and drive and yet they still got killed in a car accident. Didn’t by their choice not to drink they exhibit a will to live? What happen to their free will? What happened to their choice? Choice and free will cannot be arbitrarily applied when it is convenient. They must be applied across the board. And when they are, we clearly see that the application of the concepts are incompatible with logic and reality. There is only one will -God’s will and it be done “on Earth as it is in Heaven.” Amen!

I think Baal probably does exist but he exists as a demon...same with Moloch and other pagan deities. There's plenty of scripture to validate this. Moses said it in Deuteronomy and Paul quoted the same passage to the Corinthians.

14:50 I believe it is the Black people in the Americas that are still to this day, persecuted, shot by police, wrongfully accused, guilty until proven innocent and the list goes on. The nation in Israel today receives more tax breaks, protections and is afforded more luxury than nearly anyone in the world. How could one possibly believe they (not all, but I’d argue most) are the representatives placed here as an example to the world? How? I do appreciate all of these teachings but I would ask for you to look through a different lens without respect of persons. Its blaring obvious.
